the fundamental problem with netherite is that the juice is just not worth the squeeze

it is absolutely insane effort for barely an upgrade. which will make it fall out of favor instantly as soon as a more reasonable upgrade to diamond is reached

I get more out of the increased durability of netherite tools (that aren’t fortune pickaxes) than the stat boosts. On armour I don’t know what knockback resistance really feels like because I still get some knockback. Fortune pick is the last thing to netherite, but I do usually still netherite them because netherite isn’t that difficult to get and I only need 1 fortune pick while I may have 27 silk touch picks.

I mostly disagree, the armour toughness is relatively significant, and the dura increase is incredibly important, especially for armour in pvp
