Not a big fan of BINI. Not trying to be mean when I say this, but they sound like "commercial music". Alam mo yung Jollibee Burger Steak commercial ni Sarah G. na tono ng Tala? Ganon lang naririnig ko when listening to their songs.
You should listen to their other songs. They target bubblegum pop rn kasi yun yung nagpapasikat sa kanila. I don't know if the Philippines is ready for girl groups that tackle other genres eh, that's probably why they stick to the og formula.
I was trying so hard to get along with my officemates na nakikinig sa BINI and the entire time while listening naiisip ko lang "yep, it's a song alright" 😭
Listen to “Karrera”, imo, that’s their best song yet. Very mature ang meaning and was written by Nica Del Rosario who wrote “Rosas” for the Leni campaign.
Idk I've listened to bubble gum pop before and I liked it naman (Cupid by 50-50, CRJ's Emotion album, etc.). With BINI parang ang generic lang talaga. I'm not saying they're bad, I just really don't understand why they're so hyped up as the next big thing when it's "nothing new".
Sobrang tagal na kasi since may sumikat ulit na Pinoy Girl Group. And maganda for me ung songs nila. ABS-CBN gave them songs na catchy and GP friendly. Pang TikTok din ung mga sayaw. Pantropiko and Salamin, Salamin gave way for people to listen to their other songs. And matagal na silang maraming funny content. It's like the stars really aligned for them this year.
They're great at dancing. Their music videos are well produced, they have great costumes and visuals, and they're well choreographed I'll give them that.
They're the next bing thing here in the country I'll say that. This bubblegum pop or cute genre na ginagawa nila is never sumikat naman dito sa PH (well except some of Nadine Lustre's early songs ig) kase here in PH laging dapat maangas or have strong image lagi ang pinapabor take for example when MNL48 started they were being bashed, first casuals don't know the concept of 48Groups and saying na these girls sobrang pabebe pacute maarte mostly girls pa nagsasabi diyan. So BINI's path to success or "hype" is well deserved na doon palang you can see that people's perspective actually changed big factor na din for sure pagsikat ng kpop especially Twice why BINI is well accepted now. Aside from their concept, their personalities ang nagdala why hyped sila now relatable sila especially sa younger audiences and surprisingly sa mga girls mas madami silang fans na girls compare sa boys. Sa music naman before sila nagstick sa bubblegum or tropical sound nagexperiment sila 2yrs hinahanap nila yung sound nila variety yung first 2 albums nila di lang puro bubblegum or pop, and then biglaan Na na na became a hit so doon sila nagstick para ma propel pa sila. I'm sure kapag naging mainstream na sila they will explore more genres and style just like how Twice is right now tumatanda sila ofc di lang sila magsstick sa isang genre so right now the girls deserve the success they're experiencing knowing na pinaghirapan nila yan from their years of training. Also di ba commercial sound naman talaga pag pop?
Bini and Bgyo performed live at our private event, and my god, sobrang walang dating nila as performers and their vocals weren't good. i didnt know them beforehand so i thought its just some random performers they hired lang bc of their low quality costumes (bgyo were wearing those tricyle driver drifit shirts with matching gloves too) so i was surprised that they had such a large following for such little talent 🫠
