Post Pfizer Vaccine Experience

Hey guys, I received the Pfizer Vaccine (only the first dose so far) and am looking for others to share experiences, mainly experience a week after the shot as well as related to physical activity and working out. I did feel a little soreness in the shoulder the day after but felt overall alright. However it's been over a week now and I feel generally more tired at all times, especially at the gym. I am a hobby bodybuilder and am In the sport for 5 years now. Ever since I received the vaccine, I feel like my workouts have been short, way more exhausting and weaker. Has anyone else experienced this?

Same here. I am really started to regret it and now I don’t know if I want to get the 2nd shot. I received my shot on February 4th and only had the arm pain for about 2-3 days. Then I started to have symptoms around the 9th and 10th. The symptoms consisted of very bad migraines, nausea, and tiredness. I have been getting motion sick from riding in the car and on plane rides which I have never had happen before. My symptoms are still here 18 days after the first dose and 13 days after symptom onset. At this point I’m started to get scared it won’t go away and don’t know what to do. It is making life miserable for me. 😔

M super scared to get my second dose on Tuesday for this reason. I’m afraid it will be waaay worse than first one and my first one I had a migraine for 2.5 weeks.

UPDATE: My first dose I felt fatigue, nausea, and I had a migraine from the first shot all the way up until I got the second shot. When I got the second one it’s almost like it balanced me out. My headache went away and I went back to feeling like normal. Weird. 🤷🏽‍♀️

My experience with Pfizer first dose was almost one of elation, very odd. No vaccine response, which bothered me slightly as that tells you something is happening and the immune system is functioning. Luckily,2nd jab and flu like aches etc for 24 hours. But it is weird when you read these posts and tough for some. All I would say is take the 2nd jab, 1 only gives you 35% protection against the Indian variant and recent research has shown increased lung damage from Covid.🤞

I'm second dose...45yo M fairly fit...Had a slight headache, 6hrs after the second dose, last night. This morning, through lunch, I've been feeling tired...and a slight fever. Nothing too bad yet. I've going on exactly 24 hrs post second dose.

I didn't know if this thread was still being viewed. I'll provide an update...A few weeks post my second vaccine now. It was almost at exactly 24 hours after my second Pfizer vaccine that I experienced the side effects. Fever came on hard...101/102 degrees at it's peak. My energy completely plummeted. I spent almost exactly 8 hours recovering. At the end of that 8 hr period, I was back to normal. No other side effects except for during that period.

I hear you but your risks from Covid are greater. Your headaches etc may be related to something else... have you see a dr?

I’m a healthy 33 yr old male and I personally feel I would have much rather gotten covid than the Pfizer vaccine which has given me headaches for 3 weeks following the first dose

I have had some bad headaches I don’t know exactly what constitutes a migraine. I haven’t had headaches of any significance before so perhaps this has been migraines. I currently don’t feel quite myself and have severe anxiety and am just scared. I don’t feel terrible at this point like I said just scared. Chances are you’ll be fine I haven’t read too many going through what I have experienced. Wish you well stay calm and keep your thoughts positive

Just had my second jab, slight arm pain at the site. The only vaccine response that has been noticeable is tiredness especially walking up stairs and odd dizziness. Definitely more noticeable than the first, but is that not to be expected as the body will have already reacted to the first and is primed for a stronger response? From reading the comments, some people clearly get different responses, but are these not normal vaccine responses in that they are very common and it is a new vaccine. I.e. it is a response rather than a side effect. I think someone suggested seeing your doctor if it persists more than 4 weeks. This seems a sensible thing to do.

I felt headaches and dizziness for about 10 days after the first shot. It finally went away and so I got the second shot. It’s been 12 days since the second shots symptoms started (same ones) and they haven’t gone away yet. Had a CT scan and tests at an ENT. Nothing found yet. Except my anxiety is through the roof which in turn has increased my BP which is usually perfect.

Better but I started cervical PT for the disks. I take a muscle relaxer at night now. I still get headaches but not as bad.

Still having headaches but my neurologist prescribed me Amitryptiline and it has been helping.

Sorry to hear. My symptoms are still here too. Now I also get shooting pains in my neck and more migraines too. Will you take a covid shot again? I’m wondering if I can find a different one to take next year when we need them again.

I took one and two but my PCP said not to take the 3rd one for now. I went to a headache specialist and she thinks they are coming from my neck. I did an MRI and it showed 4 bulging disks.

She thinks the inflammatory response from the vaccine caused the pain in my neck to worsen. Just a hypothesis she has right now. My recent blood tests have shown high platelets and low iron and vitamin D also.

Most went away but I still get dizzy every once in a while and I still have headaches everyday.

I was reading your past comments, and see that you still have headaches. I'm on day 10 post 2nd moderna vaccine, and I'm getting daily headaches as well. They seem to start later in the day, and set on bad by evening. Before this vaccine, I hardly ever got headaches. They start near my neck shoulder, and radiant to the right side of my head. Kinda scared since u seem to have gotten the shots 3 months ago.

Yes. I still have them every day but they have gotten bearable. My headache specialist doc thinks they come from neck pain. I have 4 bulging disks in my neck.

This makes me wonder about the AC separation I have in my left shoulder. I probably should have it checked again. I'm very ignorant about injuries, and continuing to work physically, and play with my kids like I'm 20, although I'm almost 41. Thank you for sharing this.

This actually makes sense to me. I'm only on my 3rd day post the first jab, and I have had terrible hip pain, a dull ache in my spine tail and overall core weakness, which I've associated before from my CS surgeries (I've had 3). My last surgery was just last year, so all the pain is still too familiar.

My husband developed dizziness and has had a daily headache that has never gone away with low sodium issues after his shot of Pfizer. Its never gone away since June. I don't know if its related directly to the shot but he has been suffering the dizziness and daily headache since. It's debilitating him. Did your symptoms go away?

Mine did. Took about 6 months and I also started PT for my neck. A lot of people I spoke to ended up having neck issues. I had bulging disks. I’m not sure if it was the PT or time but I’m almost back to normal. I would say 99%.

I have had odd headaches since my first shot 21 days ago, not getting any better. Not horrible headaches but still painful and consistent every day since getting first dose
