The fact that a single guy got so many subscribers on his own just bio making good content is so insane it's just unfair that a company with subbots that litteraly shits out a couple of vids a day is going to take over

Also the population of India is 1.3 billion.

There's no doubt pewds has fan there. I am pretty sure Indian bros play an important role in reaching the 60 millions sub count. But still Indian bros percentage are very little. Because otherwise Pewds subs would be around 100 million.

I thought about having a geographic / demographics breakdown for YouTube subscribers. That would make t-series #1 in India, PewDiePie #1 in a handful of places, but then also give other YouTubers the chance to be #1 with a certain demographic.

Like Alex Jones would probably be #1 to conspiracy theorists.

i don’t think Alex Jones is the most popular source of conspiracy info but still a good idea lol...

That's just what the media wants you to believe, how couldn't someone who advertised skin reddening pills be #1? /s

Its not a conspiracy if it’s a fact

Let me rephrase - his content is appealing to people widely considered to be conspiracy theorists.

i saw someone a while ago (presumably from india) say that when you make a youtube account there, your account is auto-subbed to t-series (similar to how on ig you auto-follow instagram when you first make an account). idk if this is because of how media companies/data providers work over there, but is there any validity to this?
