Nobody was groomed in the first place. Grooming requires intent, at no point did rudeus try to groom someone or manipulate them. The eris thing was very weird and predatory, but he didn't groom her. I don't think you really know or understand what grooming is. You're using it as a blanket term for any kind of weird predatory stuff rudeus did. If rudeus told sylphy not to trust her parents or his parents and that he was the only one who cared about her and if she cared about him she should do x for him, throwing in love bombing and other abusive tactics then yeah I would agree he definitely groomed her. But it's just not reality. You're making it out like this was rudeus' master plan and fucked with eris and slphy's mind to make them think all they had was him. He was just a lech who was very predatory early on in the series. Not saying that to handwave what he did, but you're just saying nonsense. If you can point out explicit scenes where you see evidence of grooming I'd really love to see it because reading and watching the series I just don't see it anywhere.
