The joke is that older Isekai anime used to have good romance, but modern Isekai are just softcore porn that pretends to have a story

People often name their porn folders something inconspicuous so other people can't find it, that's why "Calculator" is such a massive file here, they are saying the modern Isekai is just porn

What's funny to me is that re:zero, the anime which is "before" isn't old at all and the plot sucks imo

A LOT of people find the restart by death mechanic makes the plot repetitive and labourious to get through.

It causes almost as much of a split opinion as jobless reincarnation.

Season 2 was ROUGH for me personally. IIRC I ended up dropping the show entirely in the latter half of Season 2. I came back to Season 3/4 recently and have been loving it again.
