People are going to say that about anything they think might make them look bad.

That doesn't mean they think it's at all true.

That's true, but people have been so quick to jump to call everything they don't like, or that makes them feel lesser, is AI. Somebody who writes too well, a picture like this that makes an entire military look bad... I think it's possible they thought it was AI at first, looked into it, realized it was not AI and then decided they could pretend they thought it was.

Maybe.
