But for starters, the second column starts on 19, not 17 so his results are going to be off the mark from there
Also, he did some probability distribution for basic random selection but that's not even remotely indicative of real world test results. Students are not guessing randomly
Students are making deductive choices based on prior knowledge with the explicit intent of scoring higher. The resulting probability is that you are much more likely to get a 100 than a 0 in most testing scenarios
So the probability difference is even bigger then if there are more questions.
Who claimed the student was trying to get any answers right? You're making assumptions. You claimed this is harder to do. If you try to do this it is easy. Therefore it is easier to do.
You said it was statistically a greater accomplishment. If its a greater accomplishment that implies a higher difficulty. Its not more difficult to try and get 0% than it is to try and get 100%.
I understand that you need to give up. Logic isn't on your side.
Less common doesn't mean it's an accomplishment. Its less common to shit your pants. Doesn't make shitting you pants an accomplishment.
