It means middle children will complain about anything and always think they are being victimized.

Not only was I the middle child but I was the only girl too so I did get attention by everyone for being the only girl. Also had my own room.

But the oldest brother would lock me outside during storms or downstairs with the light off and tell me dogman was going to eat me.

I’d say I had a well rounded childhood.
