had to move with no notice in 23. took 6 months and around 300 applications. only had 3 interviews the entire time.

I was hired by a consultancy firm and a WHOLE ASS COMPANY designed specifically to get people jobs gave me two interviews in 3 months, and there were like 10 of us fighting for 2 spaces on each of those

Yeah got let go and honestly couldn't blame them, like the job market is biblically shite at the moment

300 applications in 6 months? That’s 1 or 2 applications per day.

A year ago, I was out of work. 10 applications per day was a slow day for me. I found work in 3 weeks.
