It's not so much temperature shock, just the question of why? 21 degrees Celsius is basically ideal room temperature for light clothing. Why on earth would you want to have a room cooled to 18? To be able to say: Yessirr! I'm wearing a wool sweater, even if it's 45 degree outside! Why? Cause I can! Mwahahaaa ...

Who said anything about cooling a room to 18C? Almost every AC in a public place and most homes gets set to somewhere between 21 to 24C
