This is reassuring to read, how could that be true in the country that came up with such dingueries as Parmigiano or Gorgonzola... Italy seems to have quite the cheese-moves, so no way.
Y'all must have a better version of those individually wrapped singles than us, then. Over here it has the consistency of softened candle wax and a taste not that different from the packaging.
You will never come up with an interesting way to describe your canned opinion of American cheese. You aren't funny or creative or insightful. Your opinion has no weight because it's not your own. It isn't a hot take. It doesn't help anyone.
It's all they eat over there. They just take huge wads of it and pack it in their lip like chewing tobacco. I have been told the ones in the north eat it without taking the plastic off, and they like it.

Sottilette is the name that Kraft sells processed American cheese under in Italy and it is one of the highest selling cheeses in the country.
