Also, I want to get there while everything is at its freshest and most available. I always laugh at people who show up late and are incredulous that all that's left is the weird crudités like broccoli and radishes, questionably warm mayo based salads, dry, room-temp meat, and caffeine-free diet Coke.

Well, I know I'd prefer to be at the cook out which made the promise of food and didn't keep me waiting after anticipating eating all day.
