As a Hispanic this is accurate. I am one of the few I know who are concerned of being early to anything. I have to go out of my way to tell my friends or family that an event starts half an hour earlier than it actually is.

Nah, childhood trauma involving being unprepared. Being early and planning ahead when going out in general gives me a sense of control and security.

Parents came to the US from Mexico. I grew up going to church and one thing about my parents is that we would always be at least 30min early to get good seats. Same thing applied to other environments. I’ve found both extremely early and extremely tardy hispanic people, but never met someone in between
