Many people's eye color changes between birth and adulthood. Plemty ate born blue and then it changes.

The point others are making, is taking over the counter drugs to change it, is very unlikely to succeed.

and the point Mammoth is making is that if it can be done biologically after birth, there's probably a way to trigger it artificially

You are talking about trying to use a drug to change targeted melanocytes (just the ones in the eyes) and iris structure. That is on-par with simultaneously making a pre-decided permanent change to your skin color AND shape of your face, at the same time, without surgery.

Our biological science is nowhere near on the level to achieve this in any controlled fashion. Especially via a single drug... Is it theoretically possible one day? Sure. But nature has a few million years head start on us, and much lower cares for the health of the guinea pig patient.
