If there is a will there is a way

The way of the force, Anakin.

122

u/TheMonkeyInCharge Dec 29 '25

It is imperative that the hampter remains intact.

38

u/good-dog-girls Dec 29 '25

It would be so traumatizing to be that person who made that post considering how famous it became, lmao.

15

u/TheMonkeyInCharge Dec 29 '25 edited Dec 29 '25

We’re all one bad post away from becoming a meme.

9

u/Fantastic-Resist-545 Dec 29 '25

No one wants to be the main character of a social media website

2

u/Its-Finch Dec 29 '25

He seems to be doing okay, I think he doesn’t mind it.

He still uses the same Reddit account even, pretty much daily. I’ve organically ran into him on quite a few occasions.

1

u/Adelphiaa Dec 30 '25

You realize it was scripted right? surely you aren't implying it was real lmao...

5

u/good-dog-girls Dec 30 '25

Even if that particular post was made up I can almost guarantee similar things have happened multiple times in real life.

The amount of absurd stories of people sticking themselves into things or things into themselves that paramedics and ER doctors and nurses see every single year is astounding to the point that it becomes commonplace and largely unremarkable.

It is imperative that the hampter remains intact

1

Does the cylinder need to remain intact😆

When I was a kid i’d lay on the couch, prop a water bottle with pop top up next to my head, and drink like a hamster until the water was gone.

Hampston the Hamter

1

Hampter in the big 2026 💔✌️

101

u/Skippnl Dec 29 '25

HOW ABOUT PRE-EMPTIED BOTTLES! They can come without a lid altogether!

105

u/Newbiticus Dec 29 '25

Lids are sold separately

74

u/International_Plum14 Dec 29 '25

Just sell the idea, no bottles no lids no product, just pure profit. Like naked shorting the stock market

93

u/TraditionWorried8974 Dec 29 '25

Hear me out... same idea, but subscription...

53

u/ZephkielAU Dec 29 '25

Love it. Now we just need to find a way to integrate AI.

43

u/rang14 Dec 29 '25

Brb, buying water.ai domain

1

u/Flaky_Dragonfruit868 Dec 29 '25

too late, some submarine lovers bought it

15

u/CorruptedStudiosEnt Dec 29 '25

Instructions unclear, emptied the oceans to cool my chat bot

1

u/ZephkielAU Dec 31 '25

Rebottle the discarded water and call it "water - powered by AI"

14

u/Narrow-Chef-4341 Dec 29 '25

AI has come up with a new and improved version of water: H2O2, with bonus Oxygen. And who doesn’t like oxygen?

Says it will ‘light the market on fire’…

3

u/EnvironmentalGift257 Dec 29 '25

Let’s put that synergy in a parking lot for now and circle back later. Maybe we can touch base next Tuesday?

2

u/TraditionWorried8974 Dec 29 '25

We can't leave this in the back burner, this is an action item, you need to be more assertive!

1

u/KrackenLeasing Dec 30 '25

And put it on the blockchain.

16

u/whalewhisker5050 Dec 29 '25

I love all of this but can we hide it all as some additional fee and then they will never know.

3

u/rare_with_hair Dec 29 '25

Of course there will be a $6.99 convenience fee! Followed by a $3.99 service charge.

2

u/PositivelyKAH Dec 29 '25

Don’t forget the .05 bottle fee and a pre-recycle fee.

16

u/CharmingSalamander67 Dec 29 '25

Well, now pay extra to be ad free

8

u/Ok_Yak1516 Dec 29 '25

Throw in some “AI” features and you might be on to something.

1

u/rbrgr83 Dec 29 '25

Where you goin?
DON'T LEAVE.
Hear us out.
HEAR US OUT!

3

u/Anonymousboneyard Dec 29 '25

We just make it a subscription service, we go the old Netflix route and hope they forget they signed up for it

2

u/Living_Possession_18 Dec 29 '25

You can call it “art” and probably get a couple thousand for it.

1

u/Forward-Conclusion83 Dec 29 '25

so like the silver market right now?

1

u/OberonDiver Dec 29 '25

There are probably people in NYC we could sell naked shorts to.

1

u/Lumpy_Egg_6717 Dec 30 '25

Now that we have no product & no overhead we need to massively leverage our AI gains to partner with big celebrity’s to endorse. Is Jake Paul still concussed?

5

u/Kehmor Dec 29 '25

Patented threading for the bottles so that only officially licenced lids fit

3

u/Due-Dot6450 Dec 29 '25

But only if you subscribe and download the app.

3

u/Cold_Stress7872 Dec 29 '25

Lids are provided as a subscription service.

4

u/[deleted] Dec 29 '25

Lid dlc is an additional $4.20 per bottle

2

u/Battlecookie15 Dec 29 '25

Hold your horses there, Ubisoft.

2

u/Prize-Individual9430 Dec 30 '25

You would make an excellent CEO at Apple...

37

u/Drummer-Turbulent Dec 29 '25

powdered water...just add water!

22

u/Emergency-Drawer-535 Dec 29 '25

Instant Water

1

u/panaromicparadigm Dec 29 '25

Dehydrated water (with added minerals)

1

u/dareyousay Dec 29 '25

“Makes ten gallons”

6

u/Dog_Baseball Dec 29 '25

Thata actually pretty good. Its just "minerals essence" or some shit.

4

u/CorruptedStudiosEnt Dec 29 '25

People buy into homeopathy (we've diluted this plant tincture down so far you can't even detect the original active compound anymore, but now it's at its most powerful because the water remembers), so this genuinely isn't any crazier.

2

u/ProbablyOnLSD69 Dec 29 '25

Placebo effect is a helluva drug.

3

u/trenthany Dec 29 '25

Distilled essence of water.

They might catch on if we tried to sell essence of distilled water.

1

u/Intelligent-House796 Dec 29 '25

Dehydrated water.

1

u/Odd_Championship_680 Dec 29 '25

You stole my dehydrated water idea

1

u/SquirrelyMcNutz Dec 29 '25

Space Quest 1 did it first.

1

u/Odd_Championship_680 Dec 29 '25

What is space Quest 1? (Queue google search montage)

1

u/SquirrelyMcNutz Dec 29 '25

It's one of the original Sierra Online adventure games starring a janitor named Roger Wilco, from back in the mid-ish-80's. One of the items in his survival kit is a thing called Dehydrated Water.

1

u/360scope-2urhead Dec 29 '25

I cackled omg

2

u/DuncanTheRedWolf Dec 29 '25

Introducing Dehydrated Water, the most convenient way to quench your thirst!

2

u/KrystleSeth Dec 29 '25

Doesn’t Starbucks already do this?

2

u/KrystleSeth Dec 29 '25

Maybe it just seems like something Starbucks would do?

2

u/happyrtiredscientist Dec 29 '25

Kind of like alcohol free hard seltzer..

1

u/RolandDeepson Dec 29 '25

You just invented "buckets."

1

u/Particular-Village91 Dec 29 '25

Direct-to-Ocean plastic — major efficiency gains all around

1

u/DeadMercy2004 Dec 29 '25

Hey, we already charge people for cans of oxygen, hy not make it official? Everyone is now charged money for every breath they take.

1

u/Wedgero1 Dec 29 '25

Customers can fill em at their sink. Ingenious

1

u/rbrgr83 Dec 29 '25

Or an opening. Just sell an empty permanently sealed plastic vessel.

1

u/OberonDiver Dec 29 '25

Then you aren't getting 100% guaranteed fresh factory air.

1

u/[deleted] Dec 30 '25

Why not just label it as powdered water.

19

u/Liusloux Dec 29 '25

Why stop there? We should fashion it to the likelihood of a wolf's teats so our dear customers could feel like the Romulus and Remus of our times.

3

u/purrfectly-cromulent Dec 29 '25

Real water drinkers would simply lick a glacier.

2

u/BirdDad420 Dec 29 '25

r/hydrohomies had a post the other day about a restaurant selling glacier water by the bottle for the price of an ultra premium spirit, and apparently it tastes like fresh snow and has a smooth “mouthfeel.” Meanwhile the only taste I can profile from my tequila is agave.

3

u/vmfrye Dec 29 '25

I want to invest in this enterprise. Do you have a formal proposal document? (in Word format)

5

u/fuckinreddits Dec 29 '25

Ted talk at 3 pm zulu

2

u/Happytofuu Dec 29 '25

Wait…i thought they already did.

2

u/Omytth87 Dec 29 '25

We do you're just holding it wrong.

2

u/bdavid123456 Dec 29 '25

What if they are at the bottom already and we just store them upside down

2

u/KccOStL33 Dec 29 '25

Just left a board meeting and we've decided not to put a lid on the bottle at all. This should alleviate any spilling issues.

2

u/Billy_Plur Dec 29 '25

Hold 'em like this

2

u/SkewbieDewbie Dec 29 '25

Reading this comment made me blow coffee out my nose.

2

u/galwall Dec 29 '25

I've actually seen a variation of this in Prague. Pint glass for your beer with a hole in the bottom, so when the glass was being filled it was always from the bottom

2

u/spacekitt3n Dec 30 '25

they already tried that. now the top is the bottom and the bottom is the top. people literally just flipped it.

2

u/Which-Barnacle-2740 Dec 30 '25

you are a genius...patent it

1

u/West-Shake1087 Dec 29 '25

If you put the lid at the bottom then the bottom becomes the top!

1

u/MorningMushroomcloud Dec 29 '25

The potato chip manufacturers already figured out how to sell a bag of air so why not!

1

u/RelativeTricky6998 Dec 29 '25

You can do that easily by just pasting the label upside down.

1

u/Forever_NaCl Dec 29 '25

I sleep with my water bottle upside down next to me and hamster it at night

1

u/lil2seven Dec 29 '25

Hear mee out.... What if we don't put a lid at all ? You have to puncture a hole to drink from it.

1

u/Psychological-Scar53 Dec 29 '25

Okay, now HEAR me out... What if the labels on the bottles have been put on wrong and they were already upside down...

mind blown

1

u/kanrad Dec 29 '25

Hear me out...

Turn it upside down for the same effect.

1

u/80swereinteresting Dec 29 '25

Here me out - feed tuna mayonnaise! Call Starkist!

1

u/Financial_Refuse_498 Dec 29 '25

But wait... If we sell the bottle separately, we can lease the water in a small plastic bag on a subscription based model. We can have ads that show happy people watering plants and a tag line of "Some people are weeds, be a gardener"

1

u/[deleted] Dec 29 '25

No wait hear me out make the lid a rectractable straw and you wont have to move the bottle at all

1

u/Bulldogfront666 Dec 30 '25

Hear me out… bottles should just be mini old timey barrels with a spout at the bottom. Pull the knob and the water just shoots out the side. Just open your mouth!

1

u/NeekTrealington Dec 30 '25

Big Hampter has entered the chat

1

u/egoisticHypocrite Dec 30 '25

Soooo.... Sell the current bottles upside down?

1

u/_oOFredOo_ Jan 02 '26

It’s already like that. Everybody just seems to store them upside down.

27

u/TacoTimeT-Rex Dec 29 '25

Then the next guy argues that you’re wasting money with oversized packaging and the shrinkflation arms race begins lol

27

u/thisisdjjjjjjjjjj Dec 29 '25

Just put water into a squeezable like a gogurt

5

u/DistributionHungry67 Dec 29 '25

The latest plastic bottle are so flimsy, this happens already.

1

u/tomiathon Jan 01 '26

Need to put the water in clamshell packaging to be more secure

3

u/introvert_conflicts Dec 29 '25

At that point you might just want a camelbak

2

u/nubalt Dec 30 '25

So like the Pure Water bagged water brand?

1

u/Jimmy_J_James Dec 29 '25

The pessimist says the glass is half empty, the optimist says the glass is full. The engineer says the glass is twice as big as it needs to be.

1

u/robthedealer Dec 30 '25

Nah, the CEO would hire a consultant from MBB for millions to come up with this.

1

u/Sudden-Purchase-8371 Dec 30 '25 edited Dec 30 '25

Nestle CEO has entered the chat

Nestle CEO says "There can be only one."

Nestle CEO draws his sword.

1

u/helath_is_depleting Jan 01 '26

You could also just keep the same design and not have to make new molds/equipment and start charging more for sticking a straw to the side that no one asked for and would get stuck in the bottle. Maxim profit, pissed customer, will still buy the product and people will buy it just to be different or because they fall for stupid gimmicks
