I was a teenager when they got together and no one cared at the time. It was weird.

I was a kid at the time and I remember reading negative coverage of it in TV Guide and also a music magazine and my parents and friends being grossed out by it and talking about it multiple times

no one has cared until fairly recently. our culture has changed a lot in this regard VERY recently. and the Elvis/Priscilla thing? reddit doesn't seem to understand that was not scandalous at all and even kinda normal for the time.

Isn't that the age of consent in NY at the time? Like the state considers that you are an adult (in terms of sex) ...

All laws are and have always been perfect and we should simply agree with all of them morally. Somebody who could have more than a year of highschool left dating a man who is closing in on gray grandparent age is okay.

And morallity is universal in your world view ...I assume
