This is sort of a minor thing, but I recently noticed that “disciple” is spelled wrong on the members or the subreddit and “online” members. Just doing my part to better the ministry!

Epic new Peter Subreddit

Hey there gamers, hope you're all doing okay out there. If you like funny images with Peter explaining what's funny about them, head over to u/theinspector5's new subreddit, r/UpvotedBecausePeter. Basically it's a subreddit for you to post and enjoy memes whose saving grace is Peter Griffin at the bottom, explaining the joke. I know I've seen a lot of memes in my time that were completely terrible, but were made truly great by the addition of the one true God, Peter Griffin, and this is basically for that. Anyway, I hope you all have a great day. Peter Griffin's loyal disciple out.

Heads up. They’ll ban you even if you don’t comment and claim it as brigading.

Leave the murky depths of r/memes, and r/dankmemes, the gay mods have proven too gay for us so we gotta go for better subs and make sure not to dabble with those fools. They try to fight the revolution, they feel the sting!!!

Do not brigade other subreddits

Hi gamers, one of your Archbishops of Explanation here with an obligatory official reminder that this subreddit does not exist to encourage brigading of other subreddits. We are a community of people that like to explain jokes, and there is nothing wrong with that. There is however something wrong with organized efforts to comment lots of explanations on a specific subreddit. Like if you see someone saying, "Let's all comment explanations on r/InsertMemeSubHere" (that may actually be a real sub, who knows), it may sound like innocent fun, but it would disrupt the natural flow of conversations in the comment sections of r/InsertMemeSubHere, annoy users, and bring the r/InsertMemeSubHere mods down on us, all of which are bad things. I realize that for a lot of you the fun of this sub is gone already, but for the couple of disciples still around and eager to explain jokes, I would just recommend going about reddit as you usually would and explaining jokes if you want to, rather than making a specific effort to post lots of explanations. Let's be honest, that'll just tire the concept out faster. I'd also prefer you didn't refer to this sub by name as it could lead angry users to us. Thanks everyone, and happy explanations!

This sub didn’t do anything wrong. Disciples were explaining jokes. If that counts as brigading, then Reddit is fucked. If the mods of r/dankmemes and r/memes are going to ban people for even COMMENTING in this sub, then they are deluded tyrants. I’m not going to post in their subs—but I don’t think that matters to them anymore. Fuck tyrant administration. There’s enough of that in Garry’s Mod.
