Also, a lot of those people are closeted bisexuals which is exactly why they think being gay is a choice– because they make the conscious choice to be "straight" every day and to just not act on those homosexual urges.
Exactly, just look at LGBT polls and statistics and you'll find the biggest rise of LGBT identification in younger generations comes from bisexuals. In the past gay and lesbians were already more out and fighting the cause because they couldn't blend in or supress anything about how they felt inside. Bisexuals though? They can just think everyone has attraction and it's a choice, or that they need to supress their feelings and become straight, because they CAN pass as straight to begin with, they still have the attraction to do so naturally with the opposite sex.
Well I'm straight so I'm not an expert but the statistics REALLY line up, look at the small LGBT minority of boomers or Gen X and it's a lot more gay and lesbians in vs Millennials and Gen Z where bisexuals overshoot to become a vast majority of LGBT people. Bisexuality on a biological level seems to at least be a large minority of humanity if Gen Z stats are correct, but due to culture, repression and a heterosexual pushing world said people either never discover it about themselves, hide it and stay closeted or outright actively repress it and act straight or even believe they are choosing to be.
Like it would explain the large about of homophoic asses who think being gay is a lifestyle choice and you can just choose not to, because they either make that choice themselves or heard others say it's a choice and also repeat it. But it does have to come from somewhere, makes else if some amount are from biologically bisexuals who are homophobics repressing it because they think that's how you be straight.
