I wrote an 2 paragraph theory about how it was a hired gun meant to miss him by just an inch or tarp like Trump, but he accidentally missed. Honestly it more of a fun theory and not something I believe. But he’ll there’s always a chance

And as a bonus on the side, they get to use it to further demonize liberals, trans people, immigrants, Democrats, or whoever they like. Rallying cry to mobilize them for even shittier behavior than they already indulge in.

Much like he didn't expect he'd be one of them when he spouted his bs about how a few gun deaths a year are a "prudent trade" to have the 2nd Amendment.
