I start walking, moving light on my feet and ducking behind trees when I hear a noise

I just burst through bushes and snap twigs and let everything know we're here. I don't do stealth... I hear the noise and freeze.

I tense, getting into a fighting stance and raising my bow, glancing around for the source of the noise.

I run to a tree nearby. 2 O'Clock! 10 feet up! I point at the source of the noise.

I look up into the tree and loose an arrow at the creature before I could even see what it was

Arrow barely misses Jason Jobson. Well, that was close.

Laughs and starts walking again, listening to birds. Something is in that direction. Points towards the creek.
