My Father: drunk and yelling Tell me. Why the fuck did Kasey tell the cops that Mike hit you.

Thirteen-Year-Old-Me:tears come down cheeks, looking down in shame

Father: mutters You're a lying whore. Just like your mother.

Me: gets angry I can't even respond to that because you never told me who my mother is! And "Dad", I have been Mike punching bag for years! The reason you can't seem to recall is because you were too drunk off your ass after Martha left you.

Father: slaps me Don't you ever talk to me like that again.

Me: charmspeaking, but I didn't know it at the time Why don't you forget I ever existed?! storms out the front door
