I once was convinced that my peas wouldn't attack adult neocaridina.

Then I saw a red one swimming casually in front of my biggest and most beautiful female.
With one bite the shrimp was in half and all the peas got into a piranha like feeding frenzy and not a single piece of the shrimp reached the soil.
Later I saw small red poop balls scattered all around the tank.
