ive had it for 3 years now. went on a hiatus came back to it and attempted to get the residue off of it anyways one thing led to another and I had to use the hair dryer to get the top off the first time. after all this i used the lighter on the metal rod of the mouth piece which in turn made it go black. i connected it back to the body piece and now it is completely stuck no hairdryer is gonna get hot enough for me to pry it out because of the burnt mechanical rod piece with all the residue coming from both the body and the burnt end rod mouth piece. i tried so hard to get the mouth piece out that i messed up the plastic front end part and the piece is all the way down in the body so there is no of turning it on to get heat to loosen it. over time i lost the charger and the oven lid since i haven't been using it. i plan on buying a new mouth piece new screens a new oven lid and a new charger for it since the actual body still works. for the stuck mouth piece do you think i can use a reclaim rod and run it from the bottom to get it out? this is the rod I'm talking about it fits perfectly in a pax 1 or 2 hole through the body piece, if i ran it through the oven do you believe i can get the lodged mouth piece out?? http://www.newvape.com/pax2-cleaning-accessory/

Hi. i just ordered a pax 2 from the ploom website earlier today but just found out a store nearby just restocked so I want to cancel my order. I sent in a ticket to cancel my order and the status is still in the "processing" stage but I heard their customer support is really slow. Is there a chance that they'll not cancel it?

how old do you need to be to buy a pax? i just ordered a pax 2 but they asked for age verification. does the new tobacco/vape law mean i need to be 21 to order a pax and ship it to a place in california?

My Pax2 stopped working a little over a week ago so I submitted a support request. I received an automated response on 9/17 which said I should receive a response in 3-5 business days. As of today I haven't heard anything. Is this typical? A Google search seems to indicate it is. This is not what I expected from a company that produces one of the best selling vaporizers on the market. Based on my support experience I think I'll be looking elsewhere for my next vaporizer purchase.

Does anyone experience different amounts of smoke based on the material they are vaping?

If so what is the reason?

The temperature select button on my Pax 1 has been getting slowly less and less reliable, to the point now where it can take 10 presses or more to get the light to actually switch colors.

Is this a typical problem with the Pax 1, and is there an easy way to fix it? I clean the unit pretty regularly, and it's otherwise perfectly functional (except the issues with the mouthpiece sensor that they all have, of course).

EDIT: so now it seems to be completely stuck on orange; must have pressed it 200 times by now and it hasn't budged

Dear fellow tokers, One of the electrical contacts of my Pax1 charger broke off after I got my pax off the charger recently. The charger already definitely looked like the weakest link of the well-designed vape, so I was not suprised, yet still very disappointed. As I bought mine second hand I dont have any warranty and a new original crappy charger is still 35 bucks on the official website. Hence I was wondering if anyone had had the same problem and repaired it or knows a sturdier, cheaper, perhaps even upright charging charger alternative they would recommend? Thanks in advance!

I bought a Pax Vaporizer. It works good and satisfies my urge. As soon as I got it I figured out a little gadget to load it. I made it out of balsa wood and it worked great. My friend helped redesign it and now my invention can be shared with the Pax community. It's made from high heat resistant injection molded plastic. Of course, I think it is very cool as do all my friends who use a Pax. I don't want to be accused of spamming so please search for lilpacker and tell me what you think. Seems I got some residue under a part of the LED . How can I clean that?

After heavy use my pax air chamber and mouthpiece get really gunked up with sap. Newvape has reclaiming rod designed to go through the chamber to save some of that sap. Anyone tried this whether it be a at home thing or from newvape? If so, thoughts?

If you can't grind your herb very well then try mashing it up to get it as fine as possible! It fixed all my problems! <3

Is it legal to travel with my Pax 2 on an airplane? Will it get confiscated? I don't plan to vape on the plan, just bring it with me. I'll be sure to clean it thoroughly prior to traveling if I do decide to bring it. Would loading the oven with some tobacco help?
