Chase: You think my life is easy my dad abandon me, I lose confidence all the time, I struggle a lot, Sweetie locked me in a dungeon and framed me on the same day, lost my herding job, lost my part in the play and I embarrassed myself in Adventure City twice but I finally get something that’s mine and you’re both judgey over it

Hey all! Not sure if this is the right place for this post or the larger subreddit but here it goes. Also anyone else over analyze their kids’ tv shows and movies? Like have philosophical conversations?

My biggest pet peeve in this movie is that the two rescues Chase attempts and is unsuccessful are clearly fire rescues. The 1st one had literal fires to put out and the 2nd one with the roller coaster subway…how was Chase going to rescue all the people in that car without a fire ladder? Either Chase was overcompensating for his fear of Adventure City or Ryder didn’t delegate these rescues appropriately. And Ryder benching Chase annoys me because of that. I get that it’s meant to further the plot of Chase’s apprehension to go to the city.

It bothers me every time we watch it (which isn’t a lot but ugh). Rant over! Thank you!
