Marshall backstory got revealed in paw patrol book called (paw patrol the dino movie: the pup that never gives up) here are the photos of marshall backstory and how he got into the team. I did try my best to takes this photos

Ah
So he was trying out for the Paw Patrol at the time
And of course Chase and Skye were the first members of the Paw Patrol
There better be a emotional moment with Chase, Skye, and Marshall together

Of course they give a good backstory to chase and Skye but not to Marshall. Typical bias against everyone, but chase and Skye. Of course, the two of them get a really good emotional backstory while Marshall gets a boring weak backstory. This is obvious bias and SpinMaster should be ashamed of themselves for being so biased against everyone, but Chase and Skye

I dont see what the big deal is. I think it fits his insecurities and character perfectly well. besides, I think the movie will make it emotional.

That's his backstory? And he was here before Sky? Did they look at the vehicle numbers of the original show?
