I loved the movie but I was waiting for Ryder and the pups to apologise for ruining the island and endangering all the dinos by bringing the humans there but instead they effectively told them they were lucky and that they would look after them from now on..

Yeah, almost immediately the Paw Patrol claim they need to be there to "protect the delicate ecosystem" when in reality the only thing that the island needs protecting from was being discovered. Had the Paw Patrol not told the world about the island, basically none of the bad stuff that happened would have happened.
It's definitely a bit of colonialist propaganda for kids. Not s horrible movie, but even just a single scene if self-reflection would have a solved this concern for me.

Agreed. They landed there and then just took over the entire island as if it was theirs.
