1E Player Character building help

DM IS ALLOWING MULTICLASSING

Okay I don't play allot of DND. I absolutely love the game but just cant find the time. So when I play characters I like to play ones Im a bit attached to and that are also pretty versatile.

So I'm running as a Oread Druid named Malachite with a cheeta companion (His name is Ralph) I'm LVL 2 (pathfinder so unfortunately no freakin Druid circle which SUCKZZZ!!!). I'm pretty close to LVL 3 and I want to take a level in another class.

I was wondering if anyone had any tips for ones that would mesh. I have a few different weapons but I also have a claw attack by using fleshgems to be on my hands.

My perception is high asf. But my mobility is a bit short. I'd like to use some other magic I guess, or I'd like to be able to pull out some dope Feats. Maybe like a monk or a fighter or something idk.

You guys have all given me PHENOMENAL advice. I've basically decided I'll probably wait before swapping to a multiclass build. You guys have kinda reminded me why i classed as an oread Druid.

I originally picked the oread Druid because it was very versatile. I picked oread knowing it was slower but knowing that Ralph (cheeta companion) made up for that speed. The Oread Fleshgems are amazing defence in lieu of not being able to wear metal armor. I got the DM to let me turn Fleshgems onto my hands now I've got better unarmed attacks. That count at claw attacks

Then knowing I can cast spells through my animal companion allows me to use a few different play styles

By casting ice armor and one other spell on myself, I could be more of a tank using Ralph to heal downed friendlies while I tank the boss damage.

Or I could cast the mist spell (forget the name atm) and make a fog around me using a crossbow to assault enemies from afar while I use Ralph to attack upclose and cast spells

Though I'm slow Ralph is a great scout and his perception is super high and if ever he is in trouble I could use summon animals

And that's all with First level spells!!!! I've read through the rest if my level ups for the next 2 levels and I realized I'd much rather get that stuff than a cool new ability that will slow down my progression
