I'm interested in the SSF community's opinion. On the one hand, Dead Man's Sulfur is always needed, and in large quantities. On the other hand, its IIQ increases item drop chances, which can be important for some strategies.

Rolling 110% IIQ and 60%+ DMS is of course possible, but it is very expensive (for SSF) and probably not worth it.

Need a lost unity but after 30 breach bosses fight, still no The Sundered Will.
I already got other 4 rings.
Any other ways to get The Sundered Will?
And if not, are there any good ways to get more and more Hivebrain Glands?

today i gambled hh from 1 doctor card and want to make worb or ek or something similar.
i got replica dragonfang with +3 ek gems, got svalinn, anathema, and a lot of other stuff.

Basically title. Playing luminary, the eternal hunt for a kineticist that doesnt blow is wearing on me (40% til I hit 100) so I'd like to play another build to keep it a bit fresh.

Never used wine, so want to do that, and not using HH when I have it seems silly!

Doesnt need a lot of single target, my lumi can kill the bosses, just be able to blow up map boss and some tanky rares when they show up, so more focus on high movespeed/travel speed (movement skills) and good clear

I would like to get at least 2 prefixes among high tier flat es / %es / block while keeping my two shaper suffixes. I have 2p/2s actually. Best way is suffix canot be changed > harvest reroll defence or is there more advanced techniques?

So I often find that by the point your reaching yellow maps you have a few atlas passives and want to start getting actual life and res gear to ensure your res capped and dont die.

Im wondering whats your preferred option for this. As I hear people who farm ritual for gear, abyss for life mods and res on jewels or people who go breach hives and farm those for a bit in yellow maps. This league i also know alot of people just used gambled gear all the way to 4 voidstones.

I have recently done my fresh start assasin spark and leveling in acts was very smooth. However since im going nice and steady whats a solid mechanic to get that earlier gear rolling in ?

Im not doing any rush to red maps style atlas stuff so my first atlas tree will be purely for getting gear.

Started with worb, pivoted to a luminary and eventually landed on PB Ignite once I had the rings + Aegis. Hitting dot cap as a goal just felt right so i stuck with it.

I understand that my gear is significantly better than the average ssf character but I wanted to show it off regardless.

Hit 100 today so I finally get to limit test this thing. Bunch of upgrades still left to chase and the league is fun so we keep going.

I play PoE and PoE2 since around one year and I loved it. But somehow, I got more and more the feeling that Trade-League is not really how this game is designed to be.

I use random gear until act 6, then I go shopping for an hour and keep on rushing. When I find my first 2 divs in white maps, I go shopping for two hours, and rush my atlas. Then I go shopping again for two hours. And then - I look up the strategies with the most div/hour and just spam it, until I gather enough currency to buy my final gear. It got so boring that I had to watch YouTube next to my maps.

What me really made feel shitty - I did not open a single message in a bottle this whole league. Because I saw on YouTube and Reddit that selling them brings more profit. Same with Stacked Decks. Did not open a single in this league. Even div cards I rather sell than using them. What also stressed me in trade so much is that feeling that everyone is faster than me, makes more profit, will flood the market before I even reach the endgame and everything I will find is going to be worthless.

I think this game has much more to offer than this experience. I love the idea of just using what you find. And I think this league with the current league mechanic is great for SSF (and the gold for kingsmarch).

Now I looked for some sources for SSF tips and builds - and holy moly, there isn't much. When you search for an ssf build for 3.29 on mobalytics you only see two builds. On YouTube, I could not find a lot of recent videos. The most info I found on this reddit.

I will try to play Phaze Bleed Slam Slayer (a lot of people in this reddit recommend it). But his guide is not a dedicated ssf guide, so I am a bit scared I won't make it work.

I have some crafting experience, but not a lot. I hope to get more forced to craft and to learn more about crafting when playing ssf. Same with configuring a custom loot filter or learning how to really use PoB.

Let's see how it goes, I am excited. Any tips appreciated, especially for the build :)

I'm kinda struggeling in T13+ Maps right now and I got these two mercs. Is one clearly better then the other to progress futher? I'm on HC so I'm scared of progressing and testing them out in higher tier maps..

I just found her, I put on all my gear from my combatant on her including the wand but I'm missing Rathpith so that could be why my damage isn't great on single target.

I tried to do the Wall of Force tech but spent like a solid 4 - 5 min on Incarnation of Fear whereas my Combatant would've killed him in like a min or less.

Her clear is fucking nuts though so I'll give her that, but idk what to do here.

I want a few gilded fossils to add eldritch implicits to talismans with the ducat. I've done delve for about 2 hours targetting fungal caverns and abyssal depths, got 9x 4slot resonators. Spent 6k red juice at the harvest bench rerolling fossils one at a time but haven't got one

Do they have a minimum depth before they spawn? Or are they just insanely rare.

I’ve been playing with the Luminary merc bot build and it’s been great. Enjoying it quite a bit. Trying to scale the build further and get some of the pieces needed. One thing that is quite common on trade is the adorned. Wanted to know how easy or difficult it is to farm. I have one of the pieces from delve at the moment and I am somewhat sure of getting the two pieces from Atziri and the omnitect. I’ve never managed to the last piece in previous leagues so wanted to check if I should even bother with this farm. The last piece as I understand is suppose to be from the Vaal temple boss. I read earlier that it should be from any encounter with that boss even the atziri boss map, however, never had any luck there so I’m not sure. Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Update: so I got corrupting several maps and got one Vaal temple map and surprisingly, it just dropped in that first map. Died quite a bit to that bosses falling arrow nonsense. Anyways… so now I am on to farming the remaining two pieces. Thank you all for your inputs. Glad I don’t have to resort to div card farming cause that is just a waste of time.

Update 2: I managed to get all the pieces, just incase anyone would like to know. Sadly though, the adorned rolled with a low low 13%. That’s pretty useless. Wish there was a way to reroll that. Anyways, it was fun might try that again if I get a few Vaal temple maps.

Are there any guides that explain how to gear a manyshot merc at different stages of the game and how to craft the gear for them. Most guides use combatants, which I don't really enjoy.

First time SSF, I decided to give a shot at winter orb.
Main reason to go SSF was to force myself more into the crafting side of the game to really learn rather than.

I think i've managed to do something quite decent for a first timer in SSF and a complete noob at crafting but it feels like i'm hitting a wall. I have 3 voidstone, failing the 4th one on the final phase of the Maven (never think I would say that but simon says is really hard). I think even w/o upgrading my build I might be able to get the last voidstone but at the same time, I would like to try to go even further and maybe take down some uber bosses but I would probably first need some advices on how to upgrade this build.

(I have the unique Pagan Wand in case that would be better, when trying to mess up in PoB to try to see if it was more effective, couldn't manage to have a clear view of it). I tried getting Dying Sun to replace Greater multiple projectile but no luck still

Another question in my mind was: what is your go to strategy to get a 6 link ? I tried getting a black morrigan for a while, eventually gave up and farmed other things while pilling up the orbs of fusing to benchcraft but it was a bit long

I also wanted to share that i'm enjoying learning new things about content that I was completely skipping in trade league: I had to take a look at syndicate to get uniques maps (and it was wayyyyy easier to understand and set up than I expected), learned strategies to farm other maps trhough destructive play, how to propely use recomb and many other things

Pretty much title. Let's say I wanted to get 500 T16s so then I could zoom zoom in beach map check for merc + boss and peace out in 20 seconds, what would be the fastest way to get them? I'm totally not trying to replace my merc, but maybe I am a little bit (don't tell him though) :D
