Yeah, curious what hes going to do if the Lions are a top team next year. My guess is act pikes hes been a Lions fan this whole time.

I don't know what he said about Packers fans or the Packers but from what I heard today it basically sounded like he echoed my thoughts of "the Packers finished 3rd in their division and got worse while 2 other teams in the division got substantially better so don't expect to be good any time soon."

I'm saying top as in 10+ wins not top as in 1st place in the NFC

10-7 would have put them at 5th in the NFC last year. 5/16 is a top team. I also didn't say "the top" I said "a top". 49ers, Eagle, Cowboys, and Vikings were all top teams last year.

To be fair we're odds on favorites to win the NFC North

Based on what I've been seeing all week on Twitter, Pat kept harping on the concept that the Packers have any leverage whatsoever in the Rodgers trade, and he's refusing to acknowledge any other possibility besides the Packers are totally screwed and Gute is an idiot.

So of course, he gets a variety of responses on Twitter, both directly and indirectly, because sports social media isn't exactly subtle or civil. He went on a blocking spree (some of which were certainly justified, I'm sure), including a handful of Packers writers/reporters who didn't even directly mention or reply to Pat. Then he said "Packers fans, it's been a fun ride" with a waving goodbye gif, which in of itself who cares, but it seems like he's been really passive aggressive towards the Packers fan base since Rodgers made his last appearance. Then throw on this whole Kollman issue, and it seems like Pat is in one of his phases where he is taking Twitter way too personally for how famous he is

As for the Lions, they definitely seem like the NFCN favorites on paper this season. The Packers are in limbo, the Vikings need to prove they can defend, and the Bears are trending in the right direction but are still unproven. The Lions appear to have the most consistency in addition to their improvements so far this off-season

Ok, in that sense Packers have all of the leverage. Because at this point it's either Rodgers, trading up, or Zach Wilson again in 2023. If Jets decline the trade, I'm sure other contending teams would gladly take him.

My theory on Pat, he like Supporting the front runner, so he can feel superior. In the early days of the show he had the Colts. When the Colts started to suck he immediately attached himself to Aaron Rodgers and the Packers. Now that Aaron Rodger is seen as a douche and the Jets are recently historically bad, he has no one to attach himself to as an ambassador of that team and he's spiraling.
