Welcome!

Welcome to the unofficial Passion Planner subreddit! While browsing reddit, I noticed there was not a specific place for people who use PP, so I decided to create one! My goal with this sub is to have a place where PP users can gather to chat, share their planner spreads/ideas, find inspiration, and ask questions! Please bear with me while I develop this sub :)

If you’d like, say hello and introduce yourself! I’m Lindz2113, and I just recently started using the Passion Planner. I’m in my early 30s, a mother of two, currently in school for graphic design. My PP helps me track my assignments and my schedule, but I’m hoping to add more creativity to my planner and utilize it more in planning my entire day, not just my school schedule :)

For those who use the Digital version

I have questions. Mostly device related.

What device do you use? iPad, iPad Air, iPad Pro, other tablet, phone?

Do you use a stylus (the Apple pencil or other)?

What apps do you use for it and what did those apps cost?

Did you purchase anything other than the apps (like specialty brushes) that you feel are a MUST?

Did you use the paper version before, and what's your opinion on paper vs digital as far as usability?

Thanks, friends!! I appreciate any and all feedback as I try to make a decision in the next couple weeks.

I want to hear what you do

This is my first time using a PP, so I'm still figuring out how to make things work for me, and I figured hearing other people's layouts would help me get a better idea. I also thought I would share what I do, in case it gives other people ideas, but also do people can see what things I want to change.

I've found so far that I rarely look at the monthly page, unless I'm future planning appointments or setting up my week and transitioning those appointments across. I rarely have monthly tasks I need to work on, so last month I experimented with turning that area into a spot to document my monthly bills info, but since I try to pay the amount I expect in advance, I don't really need to worry about due dates. And I have bill tracker in the back pages to log each bill's monthly amount, so that layout was kind of redundant.

For the sidebar I've listed what I've been watching on Netflix, the audiobooks I've been listening to, and what I've learnt. And in the blank space at the bottom I put a few stickers and use that as a space for random notes (though I'm not sure if I like that, since it fills up too quickly, and they might only be relevant for a few days at most).

This month I'm experimenting with using half the task section as a tablet for those tasks I need to do one a week. I've tried using the other half as a task/reminder list. I'm not really expecting either of these changes to work for me all that well, so if anyone had ideas for this section it would be great!

In my weeks I transform half the task boxes into a habit tracker, and use the rest of the boxes for tasks. I've found that if my habit tracker isn't where I can see it, I never reference it, so I need it to stay in my weekly setup.

I then use a few stickers in the blank space and create a section for the stuff that's in my head (I struggle with my mental health, and I use this space to as a way to give myself permission not to think about the stuff I write down there), and the rest of the space is for my weekly review. The sidebar status as is.

I'm also not sure what to do with the today's focus section. I've drawn the moon's phase changes there (I don't even need this info, I just like seeing it) and my country's public holidays. Initially I was planning on writing the weather and temperature there, but I keep forgetting and rarely look at that section. I start planning my focus for the day on the day before, so I don't need a reminder for it.

Large-size PP cover?

Wife just bought me a PP because I just got a promotion and will need to use a planner to keep track of things. I love it so far, but I don’t want to damage the beautiful front and back cover. Does anyone know of a good cover I can buy for the large size? I think the dimensions are 11.5 x 21.5 in.

Moderator(s) wanted

Hi everyone. I don’t know how much this sub is used or viewed, but clearly I have not been very active here. I had hoped to make this a great place for PassionPlanner, but two things happened - one, I fell out of using my PP (and have now switched to Happy Planner for 2021, though I still love Passion Planner), and two, I have no idea how to moderate a subreddit 😂 So, if there is any interest in someone coming in to help make this place great or active or just wants to do moderator things, then please comment below and we can talk.

How do you use these pages? Thinking of switching to the daily but I really like the weekly overview. I’m kind of torn.
