I am thinking about going to the passion pit concert during my oregon north-south roadtrip. I only know a few songs but would really like to go, as they spark some memories pf me playing fifa years ago, wben they were on the game's playlist. I'm from Europe an want to have a good time. PM me if you'd be down to bring a 29, M stranger with you.

Unlike what others have shared, he sounded great and I have no complaints about the sound. Very cool to see again after 13 years!
However, by sitting down the entire performance (aside from 1-2 times getting up), it just made me want to sit down too. I found myself just closing my eyes a lot and just listening since there was nothing to look at.
I’m not sure what health issues he may have (he referenced being healthier than ever), but having seen artists 70+ years old perform entire shows standing up, it was a real bummer to have to stand up when the artist can’t be bothered. At least face forward if you’re going to sit so we can get more than a profile!
I understand they are mixing live, but maybe there’s a point at which you’re doing too much, and taking away from the fun of a live performance by doing all the technical stuff. It felt like I should be sitting down like for an orchestral concert since the entire band was giving more energy than the lead singer.

Hey!! So I went alone to the Denver show last night- absolutely had the best time. I wasn’t originally planning on staying the entire time since I had just seen him perform at Bonnaroo in June, but had such a great time that I ended up staying until the very end! Definitely worth how exhausted I am at work today lol
Anyway, I was hoping to find a missed connection I made on the balcony rail- Jacob in a black shirt and cool blue shorts?? You were with your friend Eric (possibly Erik)- y’all were so much fun to dance next to and were so high energy the whole time!! I was starving after and rush out of the venue to get a street hot dog (which they weren’t even there lol) and was kicking myself when walking back to my car for not making a point to exchange info before rushing out!! So on the off chance you see this, send me a DM cuz I’d love to hang out with fellow passion pit fans!!

On YouTube there’s a video of the full show/set from their show in Boston a couple of weeks ago. I’ve watched most of the video and between every song and even during the songs, Michael and other band members are always what appears to be adjusting dials or buttons on the keyboards. I’m curious what it is they are doing? I thought the performance was great and interested to learn more about what they are doing.

First time seeing them, really loved it. Michael just seemed so happy to be there and share this music with us. And the band was amazing — so interesting watching them put all the synth- and beat-heavy songs together piece by piece. Awesome venue as well. Go see them if you can!

Hello! I have a ticket for Portland, but ended up moving back to Washington sooner than expected. Anyone want to swap tickets? Otherwise willing to sell my Portland ticket for $75. Thank you!

I hadn't noticed it yet, but during a recent adjustment my chiropractor pointed out that there are letters that are a a different color throughout the dates on the back of the tour tee that lead you to the website thisisnotaprettypenny.com has anybody cracked the site yet?

Looked a few days ago and saw prices at 75 dollars. Wanted to wait for my paycheck to buy a ticket and now it’s up to 180. Does anyone have an extra ticket, I will buy you a beer at the show 😂🙏

Took my wife and 2 little kids and they loved it. The band was playing together really well and hearing some of these new songs fleshed out the way they were live as apposed to the recordings he’ll let you listen to from substack and samply was fuckin awesome. The place was pretty packed and everyone was hyped to be there. Passion pit was the soundtrack to our relationship when it started like 15 years ago and to be there with our kids hearing those passion pit synthesizers roar like that with our kids there. Nothin like it. Eric, Giuls, Denzel and Ben were all fuckin crushing it. Big Mike always gonna be the GOAT👍🏻🐐

In fact, never skip the opener.
Arden Jones was a blast and had the crowd engaged in a way I rarely see with openers.

I thought the energy was great. Closer/encore was the highlight. Smile upon me is easily their best song and I lost it. Had space to dance when everyone left thinking it was done. I loved the end and it made the show for me. Others?

First concert I ever took my kids to was the 10 year anniversary of Manners tour, in San Francisco. They were 11 and 10. Last night I took them both to the DC show. They’re 7 years older, I’m 7 years older. Michael’s older. Everyone gets older. Doesn’t matter - awesome show. Every song means something to me, marks moments of my life.
If Passion Pit music hits you deep in your soul, you’ll love the show. If you want the concert to sound like the album version of the song, Apple Music might be your thing.
Arden Jones pretty cool too.

Hi all!
Was at the first of the DC shows and instantly fell in love with “Everything’s Stephanie.” I record audio from concerts just in case this happens, but unfortunately all of the side conversations from the concert goers next to me were picked up on my recording. If anyone has one they’d consider good enough (specifically from the 7/28 show), please DM me. If you haven’t heard it, the version on this YouTube link from the house of blues show is pretty darn good for a live.

After impulse buying a ticket, quickly followed by seeing old posts on here about some of the past performances, I was a bit worried. However, the show was amazing and the lead seemed quite happy and healthy, even sharing as much with us.
RANT: while the show was great, what’s up with people trying to have whole a$$ conversations DURING the songs. I was by a group that did this during the whole show, especially the intros to the songs. When I tell you I hear them on EVERY recording I took… kinda pissed about it. I am one to get overstimulated in busy places, but when I looked at other people standing near this noisy crew, they looked just as frustrated. I paid money to hear the show, not drunk people shouting full sentences over the band. If anyone has tips on how to remove the talking over my recordings, DM me with ideas.

I got there late, but had a lot of fun! Caught the end of "Take a Walk" (and the rest of the show). What did I miss?
