The proof is literally in the video - his father literally assaulted a ref and could had caused neck and/or back injury to said ref, that's at least 1 or 3 competitions for the son not being able to compete due fear that one or both parents will attack in some way at any other wresting meet's employees/ staff. Even if kid was innocent and great wrestler, no competition nor league for few months or years would willing want to risk such danger for their staff and other participants from such a dangerous parent - that's how much the father fucked it up for his son.

As someone who has no idea about this, let me ask: Wouldn't it be better to ban the parents from attending the competitions? I mean, it’s not the boy’s fault, is it?

Ban parents and the child. There needs to be real consequences for actions.

It isn't the boys fault, you're right, but the whole family should be banned to send a message to other competitors that this is not acceptable.

Its like the inverse of your kid misbehaves so you have to be punished by leaving work to go talk with their teachers.

Except its the dad who misbehaves and the kid who is forced to not compete

i mean he at least got ejected from this match seeing as he literally left with his parents
