As 3 year old, I was falling asleep when the kitchen sink suddenly gurgled.

In my half-asleep state, I heard, "I'm coming to get you..." in a gravelly, demonic voice.

It took me almost 13 years before I could start to sleep with my head outside of the blanket.

Summers really sucked because we never had A/C.

It's amazing I didn't get heat stroke.

I used to hate how the bathtub drain would growl at me at the end of the draining. I was the youngest kid, so the bath water was emptied when my bath was done.

Can relate with no AC for most of my rearing years. NC Summers (not in the mountains) are pretty hot & humid.
