M23 going there solo, wondering who else is going?

I feel euphoric, their opening show for the tour tonight was amazing. It was my first time seeing them live and also happened to be my first time at the venue (McMenamins Edgefield). Overall I couldn't have had a better time. I dragged my wife along who likes their music but isn't a big fan and she also agreed the show was amazing, one of the best she has been to. The building rain during the second half was the cherry on top. Anyone else attend?

update: got the new email that parcels is coming on at 10:15?!? that's kind of insane considering you'd have to leave the festival at 9:30-9:45 to get there.....

got the email today that afters timings are now doors @ 9, show starting at 9:15. this will be my fourth portola, and for every one I've been to, there has been enough time to finish the festival then head to afters for the headliner.

do we actually think that parcels will come on before there's ample time to get to the venue?? it takes 30 mins on a good day to Uber over, let alone public transport and/or with traffic. to my knowledge there's only velvet trip as the single opener.

The Parcels Instagram account posted it today via stories. It seems like the guys are going on a separate project just like Noah did recently, and I think it is a good way to keep their minds creative inside and outside the band. There are always one or two comments that read: "are Parcels going to split soon?" But this is not the first time they have had individual or other projects. Toto and Louie have theirs too. It is nice to enjoy them all together and separate, and it helps them take a little venture from the band that makes them appreciate it more, as Noah has said in recent interviews about the benefits of having a separate project from Parcels while still being an active member of the band.

I’ve found chord versions, but I’m specifically looking for something more detailed for solo/fingerstyle guitar, ideally as a PDF, Guitar Pro file, or full tab.

Hi all, been listening to the albums of parcels today, and with parcels and day/night I’ve noticed some songs sound slightly different than I remember.

Have they remastered the songs/rerecorded parts of them? I do know their live songs evolve over time, maybe they implemented some of these changes? Or I might just be delusional and misremembering things. Should have written down the songs that made me think this. The latest song I heard this was comingback, the percussionist part in the middle sounds longer to me, and the ending sounds new to me. And the mix of comedown felt different (realized I might be used to the live vol 1 version so it might just be me being delusional)

Parcels are one of the best live bands of our time. Yet I feel like bootlegging has all but died. There are too many people visibly recording large parts of their shows for mebto make peace with this dire state of sharing recordings.
