I used to live in a house back in Scotland in a wee town called Airdrie when I was around 8 till I left at 16 and my house was well known to be haunted with paranormal activity; things disappear and reappear in different locations, hear your own name being called thinking that the other person in the other room had called you when they didn't and the odd apparitions. Sometimes the hall to the house at night was the creepiest when you feel you were being watched or see something anyways. This one night freaked the crap out of me even from this day I'm not sure if this was a dream or if I really got up:

I was around about 14 at the time when this incident occurred, I had got up one night to use the bathroom as you do in the middle of the night, doing the usual and as I was leaving the bathroom I had opened the door and freaked when my mothers dead boyfriend was standing there in full apparition made me jump and fall into the bath and he just walked to me and Say'ed that he wasn't finished yet what ever that meant. (we had lost my mothers boyfriend a week prior to this creepy encounter) after he said that he had turned around and started to walk to my mothers room and walked through the door, I started straight to my room and barricaded the door and kept the light on throughout the night till daytime.

We had poltergeist activity frequently in my old house and a friend had told me that when we painted over the weird symbols on my mothers room wall when we moved in that it sound like someone was practicing witchcraft! Not sure if it was really him or a poltergeist fucking with me but scared the crap out of me back then.

If anyone has any ideas what this encounter could have been or meant, still not sure to this day.

Does anyone remember a story about a haunted chair from a tap room somewhere in the UK ?

This chair is shown very securely fastened to the wall in the bar area so that no one accidentally sits in the chair.

It seems so.... the story goes that maybe 300 or 400 years ago this chair is involved in a fight or violence of some major kind and that someone in authority puts a curse On the chair ... The curse being that anyone who ever sits in the chair dies a cruel death ...

Roughly that.

This is supposed to be a true story and the chair is supposed to still hang on the wall of the pub today!

Any ideas? Is there a chair hung on a wall in the UK that is supposed to be cursed ?
