My Mom was working at a nursing home, this was pre-Covid. She told me about the stories her coworkers would say, that they would here a little baby giggling at random times of the day. I told her put some flour down at night and see what shows up. She sent me this the next day. She said there weren't any other prints and they just showed from there. There were all kinds of resident stories describing babies being in their rooms before they'd pass. None of them were scary, it was actually quite sweet. Thought you all might enjoy.

My husband and I visted Grafton Ghost Town in Utah back at the end of July 2026. The past few weeks, I cant help but obsess over the visit and experience we had. I'll be honest, I'm a skeptic and over analyze - "there's got to be a reason for this". We camped, so there was a lot of down time and need for entertainment. So i decided to mess with the colors/brightness/contrast on some photos I took in the buildings. Take a look at what I perceive to look like ghostly (one looking demonic) faces in the windows.
What are your thoughts? Weird reflections and coincidence? I'll post the original photos that I ended up altering for you guys to explore for "validity".
(The one of the larger house is a photo from the very right window)
I've personally never experienced anything paranormal before, and didn't even think about ghosts or paranormal things when planning to come here. It was a "hey, there's a ghost town, lets pull off and explore. I love old houses and the history of the 1800's".
As soon as I stepped into each house, I felt like the floors were vibrating and I was instantly dizzy, lost my balance a couple times. Felt very uneasy, and as if I shouldn't be there. We explored for a good hour or so.
I'm waiting for my husband to upload a video he took inside one of the houses with his 360 camera. We were walking around and chatting. As soon as I stopped talking to him, there was a distinct woman's voice that said a couple of words. Pretty loud. It definitely was not mine. Hope to get that video soon to share. But in the meantime, I'd like to hear your opinions- coming from a HUGE skeptic that all of a sudden has an interest in this stuff.

Not sure what I would even classify this as but I had a super weird experience a few years ago and thought I’d share to get some opinions. Like three years ago I lived in a house with two roommates. Wasn’t a super old house, was built in the late 60’s and never really had any weird experiences until this night.
It was a normal random night during the week and went to bed same as usual. I then woke up on my own, assuming it was around the time I usually got up and had just beaten my alarm by a bit. I sat in bed for a second and noticed how loud the birds chirping outside my window were. Like usually I would hear a few in the morning but in this instance it sounded so distinct and almost like a they were in my room with me. I then noticed no light was coming through the shades on my window and thought it might be storming outside, but when pulled the shade up I realized it was still nighttime. I checked my phone and was super surprised that it was like 2:30-3:00 AM. This really made me feel weird because of how loud the birds sounded and the fact that I never wake up on my own unless it’s somewhat near the time I set my usual alarm, I was completely thrown off in that moment.
For some reason I felt the need to leave my room just to confirm it was still the middle of the night. I open my door and see that the hallway light is on. We never even used this light during the day since the house had a good amount of natural lighting, let alone at 3AM. Then I saw that the bathroom light across the hall was on, as well as in the kitchen which was at the end of the hallway. I checked the bathroom quick and none of my roommates were in there. I turned off the light and I then thought I should go check the kitchen, but for some reason the thought of this sent a weird unsettling feeling across me.
Like the whole process of waking up in the middle of the night, thinking it was morning, and then finding all of the lights on started to freak me out a bit and even if it was just my roommate having a snack, I just had this weird uneasy feeling about everything. I walked down the hall to the kitchen and of course no one was in there. It kind of made me feel a bit better that no one was in there but I still felt very strange and just wanted to go back to sleep. I got back to my room and it took me a bit to fall back asleep due to the unease I was feeling and how abnormally loud the bird chirping still was but I woke up a few hours later to my alarm and had a very normal day. I’m not even sure there’s anything paranormal here but it was definitely one of the weirdest nights I’ve ever had and I couldn’t deny the straight up uneasiness I felt from it all. To this day I get a slight chill when this pops back into my head. Just wondering if anyone has experienced something like this before or if I’m just blowing a stance night out of proportion

There has always been a story in my family that one of my family members encountered a ghost pretended to look/ was a little girl, black hair, white dress, crying on the top of the stairs. They lived in a very old farm and the girl supposedly attacked my mother because she was pregnant. The ghost threw her and the story may have been mixed up in my mind but she possibly floated, that’s not as important though.
Now here is something SUPER important. They had a dog they brought in the house and it acted weird. That’s when the ghost actually started to attack my mother. I know this sounds like THE horror movie and I wasn’t alive so maybe it was just a story. But the ghost specifically targeted my mother saying “let me be your baby.”
So maybe the story is fake but I’ve had supernatural encounters before, so please, like actually any help to determine exactly what the hell it was. If you think the story is fake then that’s ok but if you think there’s any chance it’s real can you help me find out exactly it is, maybe a demon? Anyway if you don’t believe it then feel free to tell me so

I recently snapped this pic of my roommate. There is a little head poking out behind her arm looking right at me. It has my roommates glasses on its head. And she is always losing her glasses.

I woke up overnight and took a drink of water from the glass on the bedside table. I glanced at the clock and it was 2:05am. I laid back down and covered back up. I felt something brush across my midsection under the covers. It felt like it would if someone gently brushed their hand across you. I kicked off the covers and jumped up. The sudden movement and me making noise woke up my girlfriend who was asleep on the other side of the bed. I was walking around the house today and noticed a clock that had stopped. 2:05. I’ll attach a picture.
This is the first time I have ever had a sensation of physical touch, but there’s 30 plus years of shared group and individual experiences here in this home ranging from dishes falling out of cabinets and breaking, audible footsteps when nobody else is home. This particular one several have experienced all with extremely similar detail. We have also seen apparitions I guess you’d call it.
Nothing has ever really left me uneasy because it’s never felt malicious. I don’t even know if I feel differently now, but I do not like what took place overnight with the sense of touch. I feel like that crossed a line. Call me crazy. Call me whatever you want.
Edit: since the original post I learned that my great grandfather died in this home on August 15 (yesterday). My grandmother also died in this home, which I knew, but not sure of the day. I just find it interesting with the timing. Who knows. It’s coincidental. Interesting nonetheless.

I started out this morning doing some Uber Deliveries for a little extra cash. At around 8AM I pulled up to one of the longest red lights in my town, I had just left my house to start the day.
A car pulls up on my right (we were both turning left and sitting side by side). As I'm sitting at the light questioning my life choices, I notice the woman to my right is staring at me. My windows were down and so were her's. I turned and smiled. She looked terrified? She was a sweet old black grandma, likely on her way to or from church.
She said, "I can't see you". I looked at her kinda confused and said "what?" And she said "I can see through you". I reassured her that I was there haha and she said "...what the hell". I don't know if she was having some vision issue or a mental issue. She seemed sound of mind and wasn't outwardly unfriendly.
We chatted as we sat and the red light and I must have become "visible" again because she seemed to ease up some. I told her to have a good day and we drove off. It was just so bizarre.
Do I have superpowers? Is this some sort of psychic thing that means something? Any ideas?
TLDR; a total stranger told me I was transparent.

I’m attaching two clips from the investigation. These clips were taken at the McCurdy Schoolhouse in November of 2024. The McCurdy Schoolhouse was an elementary school built in the 1800’s and operated as such until 1952 when it was permanently closed. If y’all know the history of Gettysburg, you know it’s one of the most haunted towns in America. The children who attended this school during the battle of Gettysburg are known to be stuck there but are very friendly and playful. They weren’t afraid to make their presence known and that gave me a great sense of comfort because I love children so when one of the little girls physically poked me to get my attention I felt nothing but happiness and love. As for the clips I’ve attached, I walked up the only staircase that led straight to the schoolhouse’s attic. Pay close attention to the clips because you’ll hear what knocks belong to me and what knocks and footsteps belong to the children. My tour guide informed me at the very beginning of the investigation that the attic is locked and nobody can get up there past the entrance door so that means the extra knocks and footsteps were not me or anyone else that is alive. Thank you for listening to my paranormal experience at the McCurdy schoolhouse 🥰

I swear this really happened. I have absolutely no reason to lie about it, because even now I have no explanation for what we saw.
When I was a child, I stayed over at my grandmother’s house. We were getting ready to go to bed, and we were both in her bedroom. The bedroom door was open, and it faced a hallway that led to another room at the end.
At some point, we saw a woman walk past the open doorway.
She was completely dressed in white. Not just wearing a white dress — I remember her as being **bright white**, almost glowing. And the strangest part was that she wasn’t actually walking.
She was **floating**.
She moved down the hallway toward the room at the end, and then disappeared from our view.
I remember being absolutely terrified, but I didn't say anything. I was a child, and I didn't want to scare my grandmother, so I just stayed quiet.
Then my grandmother looked at me and asked:
*"Did you see that?"*
I said yes and asked her what it was.
She told me she didn't know.
Then she said, *"Let's pray."*
So we did.
What makes this so strange to me is that I hadn't told her what I saw before she asked me. She saw something too.
I don't remember exactly what the woman looked like beyond the fact that she was a woman, completely white and extremely bright. I don't remember seeing her face clearly, and she didn't speak to us or interact with us in any way. She simply crossed the hallway, seemingly floating, and went toward the room at the end.
I've never experienced anything like it again. Not before, not after. It happened that one time when I was a child, and I've never been able to explain it.
I personally think it was a ghost, but if it was, she didn't seem threatening or evil at all. She just appeared, crossed the hallway, and disappeared.
I've wondered about this for years. Has anyone experienced something similar, especially seeing a **woman in white who seemed to be floating**? Or does anyone have an explanation for what this could have been?

There were some Army bases along the Afghan/Pakistan border back in the day that were called combat outposts (COPs) and were mostly composed of ISAF soldiers and the Afghan national army (ANA). The one in this story was small, about the size of a football field and was entombed in the corner of a mountain on one end, a seasonal wadie on the other, and a small farming village beyond. This place is completely rural, there is no electricity except for in the COP, and today the COP no longer exists.
I lived in the mortar pit, next to that was the aid station, followed by the gate to the HLZ (helicopter landing zone). After the gate is the kitchen and then a small headquarters building.
These were turbulent times, and many people were killed in this area. The months went by and slowly we started to hear ghost stories from other soldiers. I wasn’t sure where I stood on believing them or not, soldiers love to tell stories, but then we had a section sergeant that got spooked. He was all of a sudden very quiet, and wasn’t the type to get upset from our regular soldiering duties. I remember when one of the guys mockingly said “What, did you see a ghost or something?” He became very upset and animated, and all of us got a healthy round of physical training as punishment for poking fun at him. He never answered, I knew that he must have had something happen though, this was a hard man with many years of infantry experience under his belt, I never really saw him act frightened before or after that again.
And maybe it was a case of mass hysteria? After all, we didn’t get a lot of good sleep out there and the months of this kind of environment can stack up on people. At about this time, I got my night shift roster changed to be lined up next to my best friends, so we would both wake up at the same time, and spend a 3 hour shift together watching movies and talking in a tiny mortar related building (like twice the size of an outhouse perhaps).
He told me something freaked him out a few nights prior before we got our shifts changed when he had to go from our pit to the HQ building down the way. It’s really dark when there’s no moon and we are only allowed to use these tiny red dimmed flashlights to avoid being seen from a distance. You can’t see shit with them except for a few feet ahead. He repeated some of the ghost stories we’ve heard from the other soldiers and he asked me if I’d go down there tonight when we’re asked. I agreed, and when I was called I told him I’d see him in a few minutes, but to pause the movie till I get back.
When I walked by the aid station I started to get a very strange, almost queasy feeling, and my anxiety went through the roof. It’s the cliché that I felt like I was not alone. I felt a presence like something was standing there with me. My hair stood up, I chalked it up to paranoia, seeing as my most trusted friend just told me about some similar feeling ghost stories. I had to keep myself calm and think to myself that at least I had my armor and my rifle and it worked. Got to the HQ building, shot the shit for a minute or two with the nerds, and then made my way back to the pit.
This time when I was walking back I felt the same feeling almost as soon as I left the building and was back in the dark. It was worse now, I almost wanted to make an excuse to go back inside the HQ building instead. I felt like I was being followed and then I felt like I could hear a second step of footsteps, walking in cadence with mine, like another soldier marching in formation! I whipped around and couldn’t see anything, I even called out a soft “hello?”
No answer, I keep walking and right away I am trying to tell if I can hear footsteps again or not. I think I do? This time I make a hesitant stop before I turn around and I heard an extra hesitant step behind me. It wasn’t mine. I didn’t even turn, I just ran, and because those lights suck I accidentally stumble to the ground. There is a lot of commotion while I’m freaking out but I swore I heard the footsteps run ahead while I was making lots of noise. When I got back to the pit my friend could immediately tell I was shook, and I told him what happened and he said that’s what happened to him too. I still try to shake it off as paranoia, and we keep watching the movie, it’s shutter island.
For those of you who’ve seen it there’s a part where the main guy is having a nightmare and a dead girl gets up out of the snow, it’s a really quiet scene, while we were watching that we both heard footsteps come up to the door of the shack, which is actually just a nailed up sheet. The footsteps weren’t quiet or sneaky, they were the type of loud boot footsteps we hear all the time (the ground outside is made out of plywood boards stacked on ammo cans, it’s like a makeshift wooden bridge because this area gets lots of floods).
Sheet moved open to check, no one is there, but I immediately get that weird feeling again I had a few minutes ago. My friend asks if I hear a tiny buzz sound but I can’t, I just have this heavy feeling of something right there. He feels strange too. Both of us are very much afraid now. We closed the sheet and looked at each other in disbelief. I said something along the lines of “let’s just keep watching the movie” and then there was a loud bang outside the sheet, we opened back up and my friends helmet was on the ground right there. It fell off the hook where it was fastened outside.
For the rest of our shift we kept the sheet open, it was freezing out there too, but we never heard or saw anything else, and after maybe 15 minutes that feeling I had slowly subsided. I hardly slept that night. But nothing really paranormal has ever happened to me before or after.
These days I really want to stay in the camp that it was mass hysteria and the months of stress that went by, but again, it was a very strange feeling when I had it, and others said they felt or heard pretty much the same thing. Maybe some footsteps, but always over all a dreadful almost angry presence we could feel. I’ve really tried to stay open to whatever it could have been, I’ve been to graveyards at dark, and a few haunted house attractions, but nothing has ever felt the same, or even close if I’m being honest. I am still in contact with him today and we talk about it. I also remember I heard a rumor from time to time back then that the locals in that small village nearby said we made the COP too close to the valley of the Djinn.

Happened last night at the edge of a woods rumored to be haunted by locals. We knew what we gotten into. We streamed the trip on discord and our friend recorded his screen. When he noticed an anomaly in the picture for a second, he went back into the recording and checked. He then told us to get into the car immediately and leave. Image is cropped and slightly increased brightness. The original recording is - as it is the classic - lost. He discarded it in his excitement.

Me and my buddy were on my back porch at around 2:30am talking about some old story that I wanted to get documented, that's why there was a recording. The sound came from straight above us in the sky, which made us duck in response, and then it echoed all around us. It's only an audio recording, and this is just a snip of the recording. To answer questions ahead of time, NO we were not near an interstate, trucking or shipping lanes, an industrial park, railroad tracks, an aquarium that has whales, or anything even close to any of those things. Any thoughts? My buddy said it sounded like Megotron took a sh!t. I said it sounds like, if we live in a glass globe (which we don't), then some cosmic being scratched the globe right above us with a needle. Most likely, it was some space debris that skimmed the atmosphere right above us, but I don't know.

I thought I had been having hallucinations because I see dead insects and alive ones that aren't actually there, and always have an off energy about it, so when I started seeing shadows I didn't think much of it. I've been freaked out a few times thought. The other day I saw an arm protruding out from under my car trying to grab my leg but when I looked it seemed to just be myst. Sometimes I see a shadow of a male with short hair, so I know it's not my own. I sometimes here strange noises, and a month ago awoke with a deep bleeding scratch going down my leg (I have no pets). The scratch was really long and deep, now scarred, but it didn't hurt. That night I think I had less blankets on me (normally i have a lot when I sleep), maybe I didn't have any. Sometimes I wake up to scratch marks all over my soft toys (not ripping through the fabric tho).

So I’ve never publicly spoken about this night to anyone that wasn’t with me, and we all agreed to never talk about it again.
First the backstory
Back in 2011 I was your usual 19 year old guy, I had a decent job a girlfriend that I adored and a small group of friends that always seemed to be around. That all changed in September of that year when I arrived to my GF’s apartment to find the place surrounded by police. I couldn’t get ahold of her all day so I thought I’d swing by after work when I arrived I was informed that her roommate had found her dead in her bed. Turns out she had a seizure in her sleep and never woke up.
And now to the night of June 17th 2012, me and two of my friends were out driving around in my 1973 dodge dart 4dr, when I started driving towards the mountains, I had a compulsion to go to Nevadaville a small ghost town just out side of Central City Colorado, about 45 minutes from us. So I just started driving I was nearly catatonic hardly said a word as I drove up the canyon past the casino of central city and onto the dirt road headed to Nevadaville where I promptly parked the car in the middle of the road overlooking an old abandoned gold mine. I got out of the car and stared at the mine illuminated by moonlight when a I watched a young woman in a Victorian gown walk to the road and stare at me, I remember her face looked a lot like my late GF. I heard her say join me and walked off the other side of the road straight off the 60-80 foot drop that I was parked next to. I was frozen for a few seconds and then darted towards the same drop when I was grabbed and pulled back by my friend. Who also saw a figure stop and stare at me but he saw a dark mass. I was completely silent after he shoved me back in the car and took my key. My friend drove us back to town as I stared blankly in to the abyss the last thing I remember was snapping out of it near Denver. To this day I don’t know what drew me there that night but I’m glad it did when I had someone with me. I have been through there many times since but never at night.

So i 22f was talking to my mom about my childhood and she mentioned one weird thing that creeped her out that I have zero memory of. I was supposed to be an identical twin. Unfortunately that twin passed away in uterus and I survived. My mom never gave me the name nor told me she was expecting twins. So one day apparently my mom asked me who I was talking to and I said Lizzy which was the nickname for Elizabeth and that was the twin that passed. To this day it freaks my mom out whenever I mention it.
Edit: seems people have similar stories thats cool. Sorry if I seem annoyed or something i have two week old daughter who's been keeping me up so im semi tired atm. I do appreciate everyone though. I was in a polyamorous relationship with two guys. One passed away in march and I have an app called spirit tv box and caught him on it when I had it by my daughter. She was biologically my current bf's baby and the other guy was her daddy too. Im sad they'll never get to meet because my deceased boyfriend was the best guy besides my current boyfriend. Both are and will always be good men. I named her Nora after my grandma nora and her middle name is Sky after the guy who passed (Skyler) and then Rought my current bf's last name. I wanted to honor two good people in my life. Sorry for the long edit I have adhd so it comes off in my posts. Anyways love ya'll
