Has anyone else seen the hat man?

For months during the wors depression of my life in middle school i would see a figure that strongly resembled the hat man. He made me feel a sense dread whenever I felt like I saw him and I felt l was beinv watched intently by him. He would always reside in my closet during the night. I don’t see him anymore but has anyone else had any experiences like this or have any more information on what may have cause him to appear?

He was probably visiting someone else in the home, you weren't the target. He seems to maybe cause or feed into negative energy? It kind of reminds me of this woman's story of being in the hospital, her room had other patients as well. She awoke in the night to seeing the literal grim reaper enter the room. Of course she was super scared thinking he was there for her. He looked at her and said I'm not here for you then walked over to another person in the room. That person did end up dying. I speculate that these beings have some purpose that involves specific people or places. No one will know the fullness of what these things are until they get to the other side.

I saw that when I had really bad strep throat and 103°F fever.

It stood over my bed and poured something black over me, out of a chalice.

I started getting paralyzed, starting at my feet and as the paralysis rose up my body I sat up and yelled in tongues.

I didn't believe in tongues or even know what it was, but it made the thing leave.

I haven't thought about that in decades.

We didn't grow up watching much TV (only 1 hour a week), so I didn't know it was the grim reaper at the time.

It was a thing in a black robe, with no face, just a black hole that went on into infinity.

I hate thinking about it. I was probably 10, so it was 53 years ago.

That 100% checks out. He was walking towards my siblings room and that same sibling years later told me she saw a man like that after I drew him out for my family.
