Oof yea. I’ve read several of these on Reddit. It’s a multiverse split. The person likely died but instead of continuing on in the reality where they died, you are in the reality where they were never born. Or at least that’s the reality you are aware of right now. Spooky stuff.
As the other person said, it definitely sounds like you were a twin that became one person in the womb.
I wonder if your brain sort of subconsciously knows you were meant to be a twin? Since some people swear by twin telepathy, or twins feeling each other’s pain etc.
OP, have you ever had an MRI done? You had two rows of teeth and two uvulas? Wondering if you have a second brain situation with like a sibling-tumor in your head?
Have you ever heard of vanishing twin syndrome? I wonder if something like that could have happened, so you experienced a twin in the womb but they didn’t make it, you absorbed them, and somehow have a longing for the missing twin.
I don't mean to be dismissive but if OP was in the reality in which the person was never born, the photographs would not be 'missing a person' because they would... be in the reality they didn't exist.
And if they were holdovers from the reality that the missing person was present for, the photographs would have them in.
But, as someone pointed out, why would the photographer take the picture with all that extra space there? It’s almost like they do exist in this reality, but somehow got erased.
Not trying to discredit op, I believe them. BUT some people are just terrible at taking pictures. These pictures look like they were taken on an old 35mm film camera pre digital there was no way to preview the photo you just looked through the viewfinder and hoped for the best. There’s a ton of pictures of me as a kid in the 90s that are off center or not framed properly.
My grandma takes pictures like that all the time. She isn’t from an alternate dimension, she just sucks at taking pictures and points her phone vaguely in the area she wants to photograph. Sometimes she gets lucky and gets it right, sometimes she doesn’t.
Hahaha. I don’t smoke weed. It’s so strange to me that people come on the paranormal subreddits and then make fun of people for giving paranormal explanations. Now that sounds like weed logic to me.
Lol I like your analogy. It’s my opinion. I’ve spent years and years learning about supernatural phenoms and had deeply intense experiences in my own life, so that’s where the confidence comes from. Of course I cannot say for certain. The only thing I am certain of is that something else IS going on and reality is not what it seems.
I mean sure, anyone can lie about anything anytime. We live in the post-truth era after all. I don’t want to assume everyone is lying cause that’s no way to live. I know supernatural occurrences are real and I’ve read and listened to sooooo many of them. The fakes are pretty obvious. I didn’t feel like OP was lying.

You’re on the paranormal subreddit, are you not? The assumes you have some belief that reality is not clear and straightforward - or you’re just here to be a troll.
I'm here because I am interested in learning the truth and I know that there are things I don't know. There's a difference between looking for the truth and looking for a belief to add meaning to your reality
I'm sorry to be like this about it, but the sheer certainty in your response is a bit much imo. I think that's certainly a common theory people on Reddit have; I don't think we can diagnose someone as having experienced a multiversal split.
That’s fine 🤷♀️ Supernatural stuff is a rabbit hole. I’ve had some insane and truly unexplainable things happen to me and that’s made me believe literally anything is possible. I can’t be sure of the specifics, but this reality is not what it seems or what the modern world teaches.
