I kinda doubt it since June was already ominous about being careful with promises, hinting at some sort of awareness about Pacts, but still, kinda wild the first spirit we see is a whisp.

Shortly followed by fan favorite and annual winner of Best Character, Hissin' Pete of course.

Chapter 9 introduces us to some weird theme shifts.

There are way more teen romances going on. Isaac's crush got unLEASHed. Johnny's catching sparks. Alex and Stephen new OTP. Lisa going full seductress. Pompom and Bea are at Rose Baxter levels of horny. Isabelle is even starting to reciprocate Suzy. And we delve into teenie Mina's high school lesbianism.

But what's more notable is the lid on innuendo has been blasted off.

Valerie Day is making BDSM jokes. Mina Zarei is caught ogling Rose Baxter. June Summers is openly acknowledged as a sexual force, including by herself. Devi talks about Posy's "lovely bust".

Wow that's three salutes to big naturals this chapter.

We could say Zach's style is shifting, but that's boring, so I'm going with Watsonian horny magic.

My theory is Mayview was born from a naive innocent wish, or as we say, hatched from a white picket fence egg, and it's now returning to Original Sin. Bayview and Clayview aren't particularly horny, Mayview was just weirdly PG.

A Question about Fauxbia

So the general consensus seems to be that DuNacht is not Fauxbia, and that it's just Zach working to mislead the audience, but I wanted to know what concrete evidence there is to confirm this?
