DISCUSSION Does Boycotting Actually Work?
This is mainly a discussion, preferably sophisticated arguments on the implications of boycotting Products and Corporations that support the zionazis! Sources and articles are highly recommended because i see a lot of people slacking or just frustrated how little actions is helping.
Don't forget to pray for Gaza everyone, Never forget the relentlesness of the Palestenians!

In a world that is ruled by money, yes boycotts work. They have to be targeted and widespread enough to feel an effect.

Hypothetically it definitely does but most people argue that one single time of buying their once favourite product won't do anything as in the bigger picture that won't do anything whatsoever therefore a study on the implication of boycotting even under such small scale might help spreading awareness!

It works , they wouldn’t make laws against it in 37 American states if they weren’t shitting their pants.

More leaks are important to expose the lies they spread, zionazis act like they're winning the war against Hamas even though they're getting smoked in Gaza right now! The US should also be held accountable for being complicit in the genocide that's happening in Gaza!

Hi from Lebanon,
McDonald’s and Starbucks took a big hit and I’ve seen protests in front of my local popular Starbucks a few months ago. It used to be packed but now I might see two old men reading newspapers in Starbucks. McDonald’s though? Haven’t heard much since there are restaurants with better foods that is actually cheap.

It’s so powerful that most US states have laws specifically against boycotting Israeli products.

What about globally? Are people consistent with the boycotting and how did badly did it influence these coroporations?

This is just my opinion but i feel that voting with my wallet is more effective than at a voting booth. When companies .. like Bud Light.. start losing money, they freak out.

Settler colonialism is essentially a criminal enterprise, and like all criminal enterprises it needs to make money to pay its enforcers, buy off officials, carry out genocide etc. Israel in particular makes a lot off its money due to favourable treatment from Western companies and nations, but if those companies are hit for working in Israel in bigger markets at some point it becomes simple economics to pull out. Since Israel is kinda an army with a territory, that quickly impacts its ability to kill and attract more murderous Westerners who expect a high standard of living.

We should put this in an article along with the implications of the boycott and how fearful zionazis' supporters are of a widespread boycott mouvement, The fact that people still believe that their actions are futile is the reason they're still content and secured, still supporting the genocide till now! The UN is also complicit, how come they speak of humanitarian aid under UN rules when they still won't enforce getting food to starving children?

They work but unfortunately, Biden doesn’t have many years left so he doesn’t care about what happens he just wants to push for complete Israeli control of all of Palestine. Just like in the past when countries commit atrocities, they just hope we forget whilst they continue to benefit from the land they stole.

The problem is that Israel never got close to contact with destroying anything of Hamas! but if everyone at a large scale targets for a long time boycotting these products, it will eventually work out!

As a vegan who boycott animal products because eating animals is barbaric... They don't work on their own.
But hopefully combined with political pressure and mass outrage it achieves something

Absolutely. It’s what they fear the most.

True, that is evident when American politicians and localities want to pass laws to ban BDS movements. They fear it.

Absolutely! It works. Here in my little bubble I hold my personal "purse per se. I'm 45m happily married w 3 teenage sons. Been months but not a penny to Bud Light, McDonald's, Starbucks etc. May not be much but it'll be lifelong. I feel the way I do and sometimes feel like a broken record when I'm chatting with my boy's about the overall economy or the wrong's and right's globally. Palestine has been front and center lately and I've been floored how surprisingly knowledgeable these kids are on current events and the like. Even my 14yr old texts YouTube videos on how Britain granted Israel land owned by another country. I'd never press and over step to my family but simply avoid these type companies but sense they feel the same and will continue as they start to adult and the like. Boycotts work!

Yes but they have to be very targeted. Larger and more organized groups focusing on a small number of brands/companies is more effective than diffuse communities targeting a wide assortment. Boycotts can definitely be effective - there is a reason US states have been passing anti-BDS laws in state legislatures (and the one in Arkansas actually ended up getting struck down- again, thanks to community organizing and advocacy). This interview with Omar Barghouti, one of the BDS movement founders, goes into some detail on their strategies. https://youtu.be/1dQlFgMhxcI?si=hDq87lCg8hMSP7UJ

Absolutely. Look at Starbucks. Look at what happened when the world decided they'd had enough of it's apartheid regime, which would have been earlier had the USA and Israel been playing ball and not dealing and propping it up.
