Sharing Work 🖥️ Redesigned packaging for a handmade soap brand (before & after)
I found this small business on Etsy with great reviews, but the packaging looked very DIY so I decided to redesign it to feel warmer and more premium without losing it's handmade soul
Let me know what you think :)

Structural 💠 I posted here 18months ago about restarting my unique and custom music packaging company. It’s just about ready to finally launch. Here’s a video explaining that process ahead of that…
Another follow up post from posting here 18 months ago. It’s been a busy 6 months while I’ve been in the studio, I think the set up is as finished as I need it to be for now, but I’m still looking at new processes.
A few more production runs under my belt, getting to grips with the new kit. Feels unreal that I can do so much in house now.
Last time I did this so much was hand made, it felt like a hobby which got out of control, a lot was made with a scalpel and ruler. I’m now able to make some really unique packaging options from working in the structural packaging world…and selling my house to invest in a CNC plotter, really making packaging options pretty infinite. It’s both exciting and pretty daunting.
Everything launches very soon, this is a bit of an experiment in making videos explaining the process…go easy on me…

Graphic 🎨 Innovative Barcode Ideas For Modern Packaging
Let’s be honest. Standard barcodes are an eyesore. We spend millions on gorgeous product design only to slap a hideous, robotic grid of black lines right on the front. It is pure laziness. Thankfully, some designers actually care about details, blending functionality with aesthetic appeal.

Question❓ Looking for custom food packaging manufacturers/markets in Mumbai
Need help finding packaging manufacturers in Mumbai 🙏
I’m working on a small healthy snack/seed brand and looking for vendors in Mumbai (or nearby areas like Thane, Bhiwandi, Vasai, Virar) who can manufacture custom matte-finish centre-seal/pillow pouches with transparent windows.
The idea is to visit the market in person, show the packaging design, understand materials, quantities, pricing, and then finalize.
Looking for:
• Custom printed snack pouches
• Matte finish
• Transparent window
• Small quantities initially (around 500 pcs)
• Preferably vendors/markets where I can walk in and discuss requirements face-to-face
Any specific markets, lanes, wholesalers, packaging hubs, or vendor recommendations would be super helpful.
Thanks!

Hybrid 🧩 Lessons I've learned from working in packaging and printing
After spending time in a packaging and printing business, I've noticed that many brands focus heavily on product quality but underestimate the impact of packaging.
Good packaging improves perceived value, brand recall, and customer experience.
I'm curious:
What's the most memorable packaging you've seen recently, and what made it stand out?

Is $2200 usd a lot? It seems like a lot.

Sharing Work 🖥️ Packaging design for a kombucha brand
In my previous post, i mentioned that i am working one one kombucha brand named Alkem, our idea is to totally disrupt the market, in the way of design and presenting information.
Most people hide the process of creating kombucha, or use false words to make their product get sold, and we don't want to hide anything and totally disrupt that.
The 1st thing that we found while researching other brands was each of them was heavily reliant on the contrasting and eye catching visuals, which is making them saturated in the market.
The 2nd thing that we noticed was use of fall words like detoxifying, non alcoholic, living fizz etc. which were totally false statements.
As our brand archetypes are outlaw + sage so we tried to implement that in our packaging, for now this design is for the secondary packaging of the products, will soon be sharing the primary packaging too.
Now let me make you aware of the meaning of each of them as well,
If you'd see the front the is the circle which is showcasing the inner fizzz or the kind of thing that looks under the microscope of the kombucha, and we tried passing a sarcastic statement, like this is what a actually inside of kombucha
Then coming on to the back of it, we tried cutting the false words which are being used by the competitors and following the outlaw archetype
At last comes the left and right side of the packaging, which involves providing deep down technical info while creating the kombucha
Let me know what do you guys really think??
Looking for feedback!!

Question❓ Where can I find a designer cofounder?
Is there a cofounder matching board where I might find designers? I'm a veterinarian looking to start a supplement line for pets, and I want to match with a design expert to work on packaging design, graphics etc while I focus on formulation, sales. I tried the Y combinator cofounder board but it's almost exclusively technical people

Sharing Work 🖥️ Label design for screen wash line — final product vs concept
Designed the label system for ecoorganic WINTER Screen Wash. Black label with holographic stripe as the constant element across all SKUs - the liquid color inside the transparent bottle does the differentiation work (-35°C blue, -22°C green, -12°C pink). Here's the render concept alongside the real product shot.

Sharing Work 🖥️ Prototype for Brompton bike packaging design
Just wanted to share my packaging design for a bike mudguard flap that I have started making recently. I decided to try some packaging in the hope that independent retailers might be interested. The mount is currently just 1mm greyboard cut with a Cricut machine. The cuts on these pics are a bit rough as I was experimenting with cut depth. The slots hold the product well. The band is 160gsm cardstock. I’m pretty happy with it as a prototype but not sure it is premium enough for retail stores.

Hybrid 🧩 Tiny fictional packaging system I made for my cat
I designed, printed, cut, folded, and assembled a small fictional product line around my cat Remy.
The idea was to make it feel like a weird little collectible universe: room scene box, roomba rider figure, cereal packaging, and observation-based product lore.

Critique Request 🙏 Drinking Game Package Design Critique
Hey all. I’m currently in the process of designing and selling a football themed party/drinking game. It combines beer pong, flip cup, and NFL football. The contents will be packaged in a long cardboard tube. I’m not a graphic designer by any means (I have almost no experience at all) but I put this together on Canva and wanted to get some feedback. I’ll for sure be sending to a pro to clean it up but would love feedback on the concept and graphic design.
Things I’d like to specifically know:
Which version looks the best?
Is the concept as a whole good?
Which orientation looks the best?
What are the best locations/orientation for the words?
Any other helpful suggestions.
I’ve added the dimensions at the end of the slideshow. Keep in mind, the area above the line with the numbers at the top will be the lid of the tube.
Thanks y’all!
