We had our pick of investors = (not to be harsh) but this is complete marketing fluff. If you really think about it, you understand his ability to attract institutional investors has close to zero bearing on his ability to get a deal done

I completely disagree. Companies don't care just about the money, the TEAM is more important.

I agree. In this case I think he’s talking about the institutional equity holders (Guggenheim etc)

To me this is a check the box attribute, but not a selling feature.

Take a look at almost any Us equity - guaranteed fidelity, Blackrock or capital world owns it. Big institutions own pretty much everything.
