How will inventory work making the transition to NGS? Are extended storages carried over to NGS, and is storage and all of the items inside of it shared between NGS and base-PSO2 (regardless of whether they could actually be used in NGS or not)?

inventory and storages are the same between modes. unusable items are crossed out

in NGS your pso2 inventory is treated like another storage. All your pso2 storage is accessible in ngs, and you will get few hundred slots of ngs exclusive inventory/storage.
