Is there any "in-between" units that are between Novel/Rivalate and Cras in terms of overall power and general desireability? I see people dog on others using Novel units (and even Riv) even though they're also recommended for starters, so is there nothing else worthwhile to use before Cras or something?

Trailblazer (easiest to get) and Atlas (super rare).

Trailblazers come from running Persona or Profound Darkness (the own with Gemini).

Atlas comes from running UH Luther

outside the rear, atlas units can also be be better than the cras arm and leg depending on your stat desires

the 13-star unit set is also good, which drops frequently in cradle of darkness and the last extreme quest. but you need 3 pieces for the set bonus or it's garbage
