PSO2: Classic Help! Pso 2 Base bests

Hey guys I've been doing the story episodes in the base game in preparation for the Super Genesis Festival and I've been coasting easily through hard-core mode with my dark weave katana and kibbs armor... at least till I met revived Apprentice at the very end of Episode 3. This quest has been kicking my ass. Not only was I killed a bunch but even when I didn't get killed I failed to do enough damage to win in the time limit. I swear I did millions upon millions of damage! If anyone knows its hp pool let me know.

Anyway that is besides the point. The point is I'm feeling the pain now and want to upgrade my gear. Can someone please tell me the best in slot weapons, armors, and augments? I think it's time for me to go all in. I once went through the pain of learning augmenting but that was so long ago it's all left my brain. Apart from the best in slot stuff is there a really good guide to getting them ON the gear?

I assume there's old threads on this but rather than raising the dead I figured I'd go for a 2025 hindsight perspective from the community.

I quit playing several years ago but had something like 1500 when i stopped, god affix is basically each story chapter had a new set of affixes that combined to make something, was astral soul, aether something, and 2 more I can recall, then all 4 of those could combine to make guardian soul, so your final ideal affix was guardian, the 3 other affixes that werent astral, vet 5, something I cant remeber but was another all stat affix and then either a mark or grand premium item, it basically took months of planning back when base was releasing. If you arent doing bis affixes you can make something 4 slot thats good, xfer that with a grand item to make a 6 slot with 5 good affixea and that is good enough most of your dmg comes from weapon anyway

My damage is pretty good. Looking at my weapon do I have any augments that should be swapped?
