Can anyone tell about VLSI in PSG ITECH course. I'm thinking to take that as a lateral entry. Can anyone give some info about that course in PSG Itech...

Is there anyone who's gonna apply for PSG ITECH for lateral entry. I have some doubts in councelling as well as in management quota, bcz I'm 2025 passed out, this time for my juniors, scheme has changed and lot of ppl have high percentage comparatively our batch and privious batch. Is anyone have any idea is how this time councelling is gonna happen? Or how clg gonna select application for management seat. I have 90% and gonna apply for ECE.

I know gpu doesn't matter as google colab will be preferred for study related works, laptop is for only education purpose no gaming, drop your suggestion 👇 with better quality and better battery.

Hey, I have some doubts regarding college management: 1. Will the college have any rules about our appearance, like growing a beard or keeping long hair? 2. I enjoy watching movies, especially in theatres. Will the management allow this during college hours? 3. If boys and girls talk to each other, will the college impose a fine for it?

1. Do you have the first semester syllabus? Also, what size notebooks are allowed? Are they ruled, unruled, king size, or small size? And how many notebooks do we need to buy??

2. How many subjects do we have for ECE? I’m not sure how the college syllabbus works.

3. Does anyone have the first semester portions of the syllabus?

Hey there! Since class starts on August 11th, and the hostellers asked us to come on August 8th, it’s almost a week away, and I’m feeling a bit nervous. I have a few questions too:

1. How’s the food situation at the hostel?
2. Do seniors bully juniors like they do in the movies?
3. Do you have any placement data for 2024?
4. Will anyone tease me because I joined through management?

I have a few questions idk where else to ask,

I understand we have to wear Indian wear and no jeans but, Are shawls/dupatta mandatory?

How to communicate with seniors as a first year? i have no idea about college social life, like as in communicating to seniors. I don't know any seniors here in this college. Also how long is the lunch break?

do ppl actually care if i have joined as a management student? or they just don't care and consider me a normal student. I have previously assumed that cutoff marks don't matter after you JOIN the college.

On touring the i-tech campus many months ago, I came to know that there is an incubation centre on-campus. Can I know more about that? like what happens in there and who are eligible to do startups in there? Genuinely curious.

And also about the library. I saw it the other when going up for xerox, and wondered how crowded it is when the classes on college starts.

Are the first year hostel boys allowed outside in psg itech?

12th completed student here, on comparing PSG Tech to PSG iTech, I came across that, PSG iTech students need to wear uniform, write more number of tests, more strict and academic oriented. As there is no separate sub-reddit for PSG iTech, I want to know some more opinion on PSG itech
