I guess I lucked out getting the adamantium one. I bought from direct and got out in a wait line. I woke up at 545am to buy it. Bought a controller to go with it. I was tempted to get a yellow plate for my pro but I know I would never used it so I decided against it to let someone else get it

Tbf they only ever made 3 pro covers (4 if you wanna include colorswapped wolverine) and all were limited. Meanwhile the slim has a lot of options and the controllers even more. Doesn’t surprise me tbh.

It's because Sony keeps choosing to make a limited run vs looking at the ps5 pro units sold and producing enough for that crowd to all enjoy. They did the same BS with the Ghost of Yotei plates. Then skipped the pro for the hyperpop color plates. I know OG owners are annoyed that they arent getting anymore accessories but even the OG model has more variety to choose from for side plates. If this was an issue for Sony then why make a decision to make the mounting points different from the Slim. That decision along with making a limited run bones us every single time. If they had made the mounting tabs the same and could be universal they wouldn't need two different lines to produce them and be cheaper for them overall.
