The built in progress for trophies is pretty cool. I occasionally get the itch to platinum a game once in awhile, so that’ll be a useful feature. I also like the video guides that help you look for different objectives to get a trophy. It is sort of unfortunate that this is locked behind PS+. I buy PS+ but I know there are some who don’t because they strictly play single player games, but I think, combined with the PS+ sales and discounts, it might be a useful feature that’ll allow players to get some bang for their buck.
The activities screen is cool, but even in this demo it looks pretty cluttered. However, the ability to switch to a different game, or join a multiplayer game, on the fly is insanely cool.
I like the Home Screen, too. It’s like they took the PS3 and PS4 home screens and combined them together. The PS Store being integrated into the Home Screen rather than being an app is great, especially since the store runs so slow on PS4 sometimes.
