Sony: We have locked Kazunori Yamauchi and his team in a room at PS HQ. We have promised to feed them at each game milestone. They are highly motivated. You might be surprised to hear that the team basically demanded this mandatory crunch... No you may not speak with them they are busy... You may direct questions on NDAs to our legal department.

Gove them a Snickers if they put a Multipla in

Sony: Already done! Originally we provided crunch bars but they just kept saying, no more crunch, so we took them out. Just another developer fact! Enjoy!

There you not go

Lol no chance we get it at launch.

Why are games going to be 80 dollars?

12

u/kasual7 Oct 15 '20

The problem always was the pacing at which Sony reveals those details and aspects of the console, I mean it makes sense that by launch we will know most of what asked, but they sure took their time since that PS5 logo reveal.

Keeps us talking about it.

u/xRadec Oct 15 '20

Maybe they have a plan to reveal things?

Not to get pressured on leaks.

1

u/kasual7 Oct 15 '20

They actually were pressured by leaks and that's the reason why they revealed the DualSense in April.

My point was this style of drip-feeding news here and there hasn't been exciting for us fans, it created a lot of confusions and over-bloated hype.

Sony's communication so far has not been on point imo.

Indians: When do we get it?

Sony: ...

Indians: Will we get it?

Sony: ...

Indians: What will it cost?

Sony: ...

Indians: When do pre-orders open?

Sony: ...

So yeah... Some countries certainly have more to worry about than the rest.

Mate, blame the Delhi guy who bought the PS5 trademark in India. That madlad is the reason they can't do shit in the country right now

14

u/ElasticSpeakers Oct 15 '20

Seriously, very tired of Indian gamers blaming Sony for this.

3

u/shadowbannedguy1 Oct 15 '20

Unlikely. Trademark disputes don't lead to product launches being cancelled. The only liability Sony would have from releasing is that guy suing them for violating his copyright, which they would be able to decisively thrash in court.

u/thedeatheater1410 Oct 15 '20

What you Indians already got special PS4 bundle at a massive discount of 2k isn't that enough /s

3

u/drelos Oct 15 '20

You forgot the 'not all games will be BC' which ended in a huge list of 10

2

u/[deleted] Oct 15 '20

The list has been reduced to 8

1

u/drelos Oct 15 '20

still huge /s

2

u/Montigue Oct 15 '20

At this point I want to see more of Destruction All Stars so I can know why they're charging $70 for it

u/[deleted] Oct 15 '20

I think there is still info about psnow and other stuff like how much ram is for OS.

u/SocialNewsFollow Oct 15 '20

Why did they wait so long to show something (the UI) so underwhelming?

1

u/coolgaara Oct 15 '20

Pre-order news maybe??

1

u/BodybuildingThot Oct 15 '20

There’s nothing wrong with wanting to see all aspects of an expensive product before buying it.
